I might have a quince this year. I am mixed and I have hispanic family as well as me (I’ve always been asked if I am Mexican for the past few years because of my facial structure and my skin is a tad bit more tan on my arms and legs and I’m pale in the face) I am white because my mother is Russian. My aunt asked me my age a couple years ago and she said that I should have a quince. I was never taught any of my cultures. I don’t have any knowledge abt it. I am also afraid people will judge me that i will have a quince because I am white.

Don’t let other people’s judgements stop you from doing something you would enjoy! You don’t have to look a certain way to be Mexican, my best friend is Mexican and she is white, blonde hair, green eyes. Still 100% Mexican. You just have to have Mexican heritage and you do!!! Hello!! I'm not a professional, just a young Mexican girl here❤ Surprise gifts are usually given to the daughter from the parents (sometimes godparents, but rarely) usually consisting of money, sentimental items, etc!

Yes of course! The surprise gift is given to the Quinceanera and it’s usually a “bigger” gift. Not precisely in size (which could totally be, like one of this giant bears). I have seen a variety of different surprise gifts, for example: a camera, jewelry, makeup, a purse, plane tickets, and the Quinceanera I photographed last week received a vanity with a hair dryer and what not. The surprise gift is totally optional and it can be bought by the parents, padrinos or pretty much anyone who wants to give her a gift. Hope this helps and thank you for watching 🤩🤩🤩

There is no specific rule when it comes to this so it's really up to the Quinceanera, you can wear the XV dress or stay in the surprise dance outfit. Some quinceaneras get tired as the day goes by because the dress can be heavy so they decide to stay on the surprise dance outfit; by this time we already took all the super important pictures and video so it's not a big deal. Great question! Normally I don't take pictures while people are eating dinner, most times photographers and videographers take this time to eat dinner too. It's usually a nice and short break before the whole protocol starts. Hope it helps and thanks for watching the video!

This is an excellent question! You can of course do the traditions, if you want: Change of shoes Crowning Last doll Gifts (ring, necklace and pendant, bracelet) Surprise gift You could also do a Vals with your dad or grandfather and a family Vals. I have seen quinceañeras who don’t have a court and do a surprise dance with their cousins or siblings. Please come back and tell me what you end up doing 🤩🤩🤩

You can wear pretty much any outfit you would like; some Quinceaneras wear a very similar short version of the 15 dress, other girls do matching T-shirts for the whole court or you could wear an outfit that matches the kind of songs you will be dancing. In my experience you can give the ring and the bracelet at 2 points during the day: First option: during ceremony and second option: during the reception. If you decide to do it during the Ceremony the officiant will indicate when to do it. If you prefer to do it during the reception, I recommend doing it while you are doing the traditions. Meaning right after the Crowning, change of shoes, etcetera.
