Great video! Somehow I was blessed and pulled Ghost last night at CL 1600. She goes well in my sera/zabu control deck but I'd love to hear some ideas from you or anyone here in the comments. Been playing since the last week of surfer and have hit 70 rank on the ladder but not much better. I got there quicker this season and so far have topped out at 73. Your content has helped a lot!

One thing that always gets me is the order of a card that Moved to a location. For example, I’d play Arnim Zola to destroy/regen Black Panther at a location on turn 6, then I move Vision into it after playing Arnim Zola. Guess what….it seems like Arnim Zola is allowed to destroy the Vision rather than Black Panther - which means that cards that move locations is treated as already being in place before the cards that are played. I’ve gotten bit by this more times than I can count

Hi Educated Collins, I have a more advanced question regarding order which maybe you can help me with. Specifically location order which you didn't cover in the video. What is the order of the location effects triggers? I will give you an example to make it more clear what I mean: I had Hala flip up as the first location, and Starlight Citadel flip up as the second. Both locations have a trigger that happens "After turn 4" so I assumed this would occur in the order they were revealed in. So hala would trigger to destroy and then everything would be swapped by the citadel. Much to my dismay this was not the case. Starlight citadel swapped Hala right into a path that I happened to be losing and then blew up all my stuff there. Any reason for this? Am I simply mistaken on the order that locations activate? Do certain locations have higher priority? Is it random? What is the execution order for such locations? Couldn't find any answer on this. Thanks and keep up the good work!

It’s left to right normally but there are some weird exceptions. Starlight Citadel is one of them. That location always occurs first so it can mess up your expectations. Yeah locations is a good one to add but wasn’t thinking about it at the time.

hey collins, got an interesting question for you. what about an instance whr ur deck is better w priority (shuri deck for etc.) but u are aware that the opponent is playing a control deck and they would want me to have priority instead (so they can shangchi or what not). I'd like to know what u wld do in these scenarios, do i throw my curve off just to give them priority or continue the normal game plan hoping they cant counter ?

Well a lot of times, they have to predict where you’re going to make their play. Sometimes you can outplay with like armor and what not but it does depend on the situation.

Hey EC, any chance you could do a video on understanding when to contest/abandon a location? I feel this one aspect of the game really messes with my ability to climb rank. Even when I get a sense of what type of deck my opponent is playing, I often misplay and lose the match. I’m probably just a bad player but any tips would be helpful!

I’ll put that down. It’s a good video idea.

Another one I see so many make mistakes with is lockjaw....they will play for example wasp 1st into lockjaw and doom 2nd (both on turn 6) and doom will then end up pulling wasp. As a lockjaw player you need to always play your worst cards last so they don't have the chance to come back out from lockjaw that turn.

I love Armor lol! When my opponent drops Bucky Barnes,he’s pretty much telegraphing what he’s gonna do! Right after I drop my armor,they retreat haha 🤣🤦🏽

Hi collins, and thank you for great content! I'm confused by how ordering work with Invisible woman. For example, what happens if I play Silver surfer on location 1 into Absorbing man at location 2 with Invisible woman and Aero at location 3 as my last card? Also, how does effects like captain Marvels "at the end of the game" resolve with invisible womans "...until the game ends"?

Well Silver and Absorbing Man will both buff 3 cost cards but can’t hit the 3 cost under invisible woman. Aero will still work last turn and move even though it comes through invisible woman. End of turn effects occur in the order played so captain marvel will still work as normal as long as it’s end of turn effect was last played.

@@EducatedCollinsSnap So if I, for some reason, would play captain marvel on turn 5 and invisible woman and shang-chi on turn 6, captain marvel would trigger before shang-chi? :)

EC should I buy the pro bundle and finish out series 3 or should I get the upcoming Deadpool bundle and the current Mr negative bundle and probably be 80% done with series 3?

No I wouldn’t recommend it at your collection level. Focus on premium series 3 first.

Doesn't Captain Marvel's effect depent on play order instead of priorty on the last turn? Same with Dracula, if Dracula was played after Cap Marvel, Cap will check and than Dracula will discard and buff.

Not mowing this information just made me lose 8 cubes cause there was the cloning vault my enemy had kitty pride I had kill monger I thought priority flipped every turn but no I had priority the whole game with me just trying to kill kitty.

I'm having a hard time winning with more than 2 cubes. I win a lot of games but I haven't found a good snapping Horder to gain more than 2 cubes

You need to have people send you sick ridiculous beats, or use your own (I'm sure you have a couple lol) and end every video with these as an outro, also a perfect way to throw some levity in at the end.

This is just a good base to build upon. A lot of high level players will know this stuff internally but I still get comments related to this on the stream pretty often.
