God is restoring order in my personal relationship and dependency on him. I’ve gone through a falling out with my family and God is calling me to be more independent as an 18 year old highschool graduate. Because of the emotional strain that the past year of my life has had on me I am totally out of order, having to regulate emotions and persevere through hardship. God is restoring order by being patient with me and guiding me to rely on him for my strength to continually press on.

God is good. He will be faithful and not leave you even in the troubles you go through. Look to Jesus who had a difficult calling but knew GOD was always with him. In John 14 Jesus says he will not leave you comfortless but will come to you. Trust in the LORD and he will make a way.

I think he is restoring the order in my relationship with myself. Looking back on my previous relationship I think I was losing myself for the sake of the other persons happiness. I think with new order I can become a better person not only for me but my community.

Glory to Our Father. God has restored much of the things in this life for me that I recognized more here. While I continue to feel as though my life if not ‘on order’. And that is because I’m not where I was physically after having been uprooted after my dwelling was flooded. Yet I have all and more of what I need and want. Praise God that He knows I’m only flesh as I prayed and pray glorifying Him out of gratitude.

I thank God for this sermon and for your lives, Alex and Lokelani! God bless your family and ministry ALWAYS! Well, God is working in my whole life to get everything in order. As a son of a preacher but new born christian, the potter's work on my life seems to be taking eventually, a little more time and "effort" as I feel like I was used to resist the Heaven Father's will but not anymore. He's renewing my mind and my life in a way I can't even describe so I praise the God of the impossible that we believe. Amen to that!

It’s not up to us to save our family but Jesus. We are supposed to spread the gospel and trust Jesus to do a good work in them. I know for me when I try and tell my family who are the type of people who say they believe in Jesus and think they are going to heaven but then live very worldly lifestyles. And I try to tell them that that’s not ok and they turn to me and say stuff like “who do you think you are.” Or “your no better than I am.” Or “you ought to be ashamed.” We are called to tell everybody about Jesus and tell them in a loving way when they are wrong but sometimes they turn and hate you. And sometimes it’s even your closest family.

Is fair to assume the unbelief of someone’s family means something isn’t right with who they are as people? Isn’t it ultimately up to the person?

I think when it comes to a pastor yes.. 1timothy 3:4He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him, and he must do so in a manner worthy of full a respect. 5(If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God’s church?)
