There are only a handful of "bands" the World that could come close to the title of 'best band in the World' , and initially I had thought that James Brown's band was the best. Fela Kuti's band was my other contender and it was between those two in terms of how tight and together both those bands is beyond any others. It takes many years of friendship, struggle and experience for a band to become this good. Along comes Poly Rythmo! In terms of musical diversity they blow Fela Kuti out of the water! Fela's band played Afrobeat incredibly, yes. But Poly Rythmo could play it just as well, and they could also play boleros, latin and jerk... All kinds of styles. So now that I have removed Fela Kuti's group from the top, I am stuck between the J.B.s and Poly Rhythmo - who wins?

Hi Everyone, Believe it or not, but as a Beninese, i heard this song the first time on this channel. Ok, i'm quite young for the era, but still. I just love it. As for people interested in the translation, i can help a little. The title is about Life in the sense of destiny. The title means Destiny is at trouble (meaning destiny picks a quarrel with everybody). Yeah, my English sucks... In few words, it says everyone is saying it is destiny's fault if some people are rich, live in nice houses

Thank you for sharing a bit about the meaning of this song, I can never find lyrics/translations to their songs (I can barely speak French, so the only song I actually understand is écoute ma melodie)... but their melodies and beat are already amazing!

And in the end (the part that get repeated till the end), the artist wonders if it Jesus (or destiny, it more or less the same thing) who decided that life has to be that way. I hope it was somehow clear.
