Watch this awesome video that gives an overview of our trip to see Orcas on the Peninsula Valdes in Argentina. We have a few spaces open on this safari in April 2014! It's getting hard to get the permits (and they keep increasing the cost!) that allow you on the beach near the attack channel to photograph this very interesting action so we don't have any more of these trips planned after 2014 (that could change), so if you can, I would jump on it now! Oh gracious no! We would never allow our leaders nor our travelers to impede the sea lions' (they are not seals which is a common mistake) escape route. Orcas are very intelligent and resourceful apex predators. They orchestrate attacks like this often. Unfortunately, hunting is an ugly truth in the animal kingdom.

All of our destinations are by the book and with required permits in-hand. Our goal is to leave as small a footprint as possible and we would never tread in an area we were not permitted to be in.
