Music that transcends time and space, still gives me goosebumps 30 years later. Ethereal. Orbital.

Often imitated, never quite duplicated. There is a depth, sweep and enchantment inherent in Orbital's best work that I have yet to fully encounter anywhere else. Orbital 2 is probably more iconic, In Sides more accomplished overall, but Snivilization has always been my favorite and this is its best track imho.

Fell in love with Orbital at University 1994-1998, but the track that inspired me the most was Crash 'n' Carry after watching the 1994 movie, "$hopping" with Jude Law and Sadie Frost. The tune was played at the "Meet".

It is 2020 and this song still got it. Makes me want to sway and breakdance backwards. This album blew my mind 25 years ago and it's still blowing minds in the future.

You said it man. There is something about how they let the sample only partially play for half the song then let it complete form the second half. Just absolute genius.

Here is another uplifting last track (from a compilation), of another genre, Goa Trance (please take no offense :D ). Actually this track is perhaps a farewell to the "golden age" of that genre, since the sound was moving away from the original sunny, melody oriented sound of earlier years, but more importantly, the whole gammit of record labels in the genre was hurt the ditributor they all mainly used, Flying, went belly up in some sort of dubious money affair. But I digress, hope you like the tune :D kzread.info/dash/bejne/hYNrmdZ-h6qteps.html

An underrated piece of musical genius. Snivilisation is great album, only bettered by InSides, and this track was always a real 'three listen before you get it" job, but over time it has grown to become my favourite on the album - simplistic soundscape brilliance.

Good old Orbital, switching up the mood at the end of the album. If "Are We Here?" is the climax, then this is the beautiful counterpoint to it. Honestly, if they'd ended Snivilisation with "Are We Here?", it just wouldn't have had the right balance.
