I was going to say the same thing. The balance in their songs is just too good! They can take you on a journey in a song. perfectly match the lyrical emotions with the instrumental emotions, just like in rebirth and behold. So glad I found these guys a couple months ago! These guys are absolute genius!

New album this year
Thematically, this song seems like a sequel to Odyssey. Sailors throughout the ages telling the story of the same deep sea leviathan than crushes ships and eats all that lives.
Bruh this is like pirates of the caribbean if jack sparrow pulled up in a navy destroyer instead of the black pearl

I agree and I have been listening to metal for a while. There has been very few bands that draws me in like this. Orbit Culture are becoming legendary very quick. Scary quick.
Got some MAJOR Assassin's Creed Black Flag vibes from the intro. Felt like I was set to sail the seas. Very aptly named song. Orbit Culture, I wish y'all nothing but the ABSOLUTE best. God bless you.

I feel the sudden need to buy a Seattle Kraken jersey to go with the new Orbit Culture EP.
It seems OC really did save the best song on the EP for last. INCREDIBLE. The 7 minutes just blew the hell by. EP of the year. Fucking phenomenal.
The song makes me want to gather together a bunch of puppets and make myself leader over them.

I have no idea how these guys did it but they seem to really re-created the heart of metal. Previous albums were shockingly awesome but now with this EP they got to the level they stand on their own. A Sailor's Tale might be best metal song recorded in last 10 years. Thanks guys for bringing this music to us, hope yo see you live some day. Keep up the amazing stuff you do!

Although I would personally not say best in a decade but rather one of the best all year, I appreciate your sentiment. These guys will rise as true legends in metal. They’re amazing. Very few bands are held in this regard to me.

Orbit Culture is so damn good. The US needs a serious tour. I'm sure other places do as well. With several EPs out now, I'd love to see a fancy box set or something to really bring the whole collection together and mark the next chapter for OC.
The cleans are like Matt heafy giving his best James Hetfield impression and the lows are that of randy blythe. It's honestly like a heavy version of every song from Triviums crusade album. I dig it.

At first I was like... okay, that's really good, I love it, that's how to make modern death metal awesome, it's fantastic. When I heard orchestra I was impressed how good that track is, I thought it is done. Then I discovered that there is 2 minutes of the song left... AND IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. Also... they did it again... the fuckin drop Z or smth haha, they got me again.
That guitar solo caught me off guard, holy shit, goosebumps throughout 🤘🏼

If this song was out during my days in RTC (navy boot camp) this would have given the division a serious edge during battle stations. This should be the theme song of any navy around the world. If otter culture just made one reference to the kraken i think i may cream my pants. otter culture, rock the fuck on and ive personally be addicted to the band since my first listen to "north star." Take this to heart, you are something more than just a band and music. You are something the world needs right now because of how fake and boring the current music industry is.
