So while I understand your point if you want to say that there is no natural progression from the current status quo to a monarchy, it means nothing when you consider how the United States as you know it today came to be in the first place. So no one has to move. They just need to put the effort to bring about what they want. May the best and capable man or woman establish their desired form of governance I say.

Ask me, as a German: I would not give a Euro to Hungary under Orban (the most corrupt country in EU). The guy receives billions per year from EU and enriches him, his family and friends. Unfortuatelly, it is almost impossible to kick Hungary out..... Unlike USA, where nobody would suggest Texas to fund Alabama, the EU has a kind of rebalancing scheme, where the richer countries are net-contributors, while Hungary (less wealthy) is a hugh nec recipient of EU funds.

In the USA Democrat/blue states fund/subsidize Republican/red states. California & New York are major contributers to red states. Republican run red states are @ the very bottom of all measurable stats that we use in the USA & would collapse w/out federal monies collected from blue states.
