Yes, but light weight and doesn't have capabilities like enterprise app servers like weblogic, websphere etc.

Admin Server clustering is possible or not? What happens when the admin server in Node 1 fails ?

Admin server is a singleton service, that means in a domain you will have only one Admin server so, Admin server clustering is not possible. For High Availability of admin server you have to configure the Admin server migration to start it on node 2 if crashed on node 1.
