The most important part to assure a successful job was left out. That first panel will determine the entire install working out. You should of shown the steps the installer took to assure it will be square, even if the wall is slightly off. Other than that, this is a pretty cool product.

You know from time to time I found myself using materials made by this company and they're okay I really don't have any complaints regarding the materials however if this company would like to save face I think would be a great idea if they took this video down and uploaded another video giving the proper steps of installation being at least an inch overlap on the top and at least a half inch on the left that's how you're going to start I loved all the information that was given prior to the actual installation in text form that was great. Also Hilti green laser for the win. As an important sidebar I'm noticing that this material is a medium tack adhesive. If you're trying to inform newbie installer how to match up a continuous image across multiple panels it would probably be wise to tell them to remove all the paper. A common mistake is not allowing for the slight discrepancy that the subtle lift that the folded backing paper will create. Also as much as I pride myself on being able to install all of this scale solo a novice shouldn't even think of doing this without one other person to assist with lining up the bottom of the panel. Vinyl installation is really a team sport we can do more and in less time as a team go team.

PRO VINIL Hi There! You can go Left to right on right to left there is no difference in the final product, I've installed many wall and window graphics and the only time I choose a specific side is when I have a smaller panel at the end of the print cause I rather square that one at the end but that is just a personal preference.

he says to iverlap with the tool he is brushing. dont overlap the vinyl. so you go sideways pressing it to the wall the partially go over the same spot

Paint to cure 3 to 4 weeks..... Good luck with that. More so in a retail / POP build. Lucky if we can get these GC's to allow us a day let alone weeks! Toss in there issues surrounding the use and in some cases mandated use of the garbage low VOC paints and you have the makings for a great time.... (and gray hairs!)

Low and no VOC paints can certainly cause some headaches. We've found that adding a tint to the paint increases the success rate of applying vinyl to it. Not letting the paint properly cure can cause a whole range of issues. If you have customers who are really pushing you to not follow proper procedures, education is usually the best cure.

I painted a way to make an underwater scene once by making a ship wreck your base there for bending wall effects would be forgiven because the wreck would still be in 2 illusion pieces to the mind would be ok to bend.

MY MURALS WOULD PAINT A VANISHING POINT FROM YOUR TILE FLOOR STRUCTUREso as the person walked into the room the effect would be felt.. trees would bend on the ceiling but i would orchestrate any tall structures in the art to be ok if they did bend. Paint effects only go so far.

I been Paperhanger for more than 25 yrs.and i know that you should not hang over a sheen finish on walls,only primer.why did you choose a gloss paint as a primer under the paper?

the only time you would want to do a wet app, is when you're installing on glass...and even then, it depends on the product

If you're working with an uneven ceiling it's recommended to add an about an inch of extra print top and bottom and trim it down after it's installed.

And install your 1st panel using a self leveling laser to guarantee your plumb and true.

as long as you have bleed all around the printed image, you're ok. Now if you dont notice that your wall isn't straight before you begine, now you're entering a world of pain... as I have before :) ...experience teaches you though

Doing it this way, if your roof line is not square and runs out the wrong way you are stuffed! amateur installer in my opinion! you need to bleed off and trim back!

We are fortunate to have a newly constructed building with straight ceilings and square corners, but you're correct. If you're working with an uneven ceiling, it's best to include some bleed and trim it down after installation.
