I was thinking lately the same. And I realized the reason is that we grow old. This song reminds to you and me the time we were teenagers, which is the best time of our life . And everything that reminds you of that period of your life stands out and triggers special feelings. Think about why our parents love The Beatles - for that same reason. Unfortunately all I'm saying is sad . I am sorry!

+b zanon Even if the majority of the recent stuff is poop ...there's always some good sounds around... it is just that most people did not know where or how to search it... I give you 3 exemples in music videos (in a tons of others)... i choose a style not too different from Opus 3... because every genres has good things to offer today... 1) Washed Out "Eyes Be Closed" 2) Chairlift "I Belong in your Arms" 3) Princess Chelsea "Too Many People" ...etc...

Born in 1979 it feels so good to hear this song again after a very long time. It gives you a feeling of freedom. The 90's were just a great optimistc, positive and energetic time for everything.

the 90s were catering to popular kids with a genre the US had ignored for a decade. If you were into alternative music already, the great music came from the 70s and 80s, and you were scratching your head that 90% of it got labeled "alternative" when it was just pop, generic rock, or what metal should have evolved into. The 90s are a false reality.

I heard this masterpiece on hot 97! In NY. Hot 97 was a hip hop, edm, techno radio station. Even though these categories of music clash, it was a cool station, in a cool era. 1992 to 1993!

Takes me back to raves in Montreal back in the 90s. Best years ever.

I met Kirsty a couple of times when I was a teenager and used her vocal (kindly the single had an acapella track) on some dodgy remixes I was trying. She kindly entertained me playing them to her at party.

Kirsty Hawkshaw, what a legend! It's such a shame that Opus III disbanded. But at the same time I fully understand Kirsty's reasoning for wanting out. Commercialisation of the scene at the time was considered what was going to be the thing that ruined the music. It was all about the music and not the money which is a rare thing and that's why I appreciate it so much! What a track!

@@erikgwk No. Like most commercial giants in the scene, they'll broadcast whatever they can to generate income. Take DNB for example, there is a genre which for the most part has remained non-mainstream and yet it's still generating new and brilliant artists to this day. But there are artists who do become mainstream under certain labels and they're often regarded as people who are trying to ruin the DNB music. I've since seen the odd channel broadcast some classic Roni Size or Adam F tracks even though they wouldn't go near them back when they were first created.

Beautiful track from a golden era! Whenever I hear music from the 80's/90's (pop, euro, etc.), I'm hit by a tornado of emotions of Love, Fun and Tranquility. What a great great decade! World has moved on to become very unsocial very rapidly. People just don't relax as much, just don't bond as much, just don't love as much. It was originally just a vocal track. I remember Annie Nightingale playing it in the around 1985. This mix added a dance beat

This tune has aged extremely well, born in 81, lucky to get in to music in the 90s, sweaty dancefloors, no camra phones, and everyone came for the tunes.. just purchased this on vinyl.. BANGER
