Yes, it did help out so much, thank you! I never cease to be amazed at how Windows keeps options hidden & buried deep inside menus and submenus. In the default mode, Windows seems set up to be work against you rather than for you, in music projects!

Thanks bro, this actually did help me, cos I was doing projects in the evenings and Id forget to save (didnt think I needed to) and go to bed and wake up and progress was gone. I didnt notice for quite awhile but thats why, power saving crap shutting it off.

You left out arguably the single most important setting in "Power Options", the Power Plan.

As far as the processor settings what if you're using i5 4core and 8thread? How do you feel about using mini pc for a daw specifically cubase?

You can use a mini pc without a problem most of the time. Depending on what gen your i5 is you should be fine. Be careful with those types of PCs. They mostly come with 5400RPM mechanical Hard Drives. Up grade to an SSD before upgrading anything else. Then put the maximum amount of ram in it. After those upgrades you should be good for a while. Do a lot of research for your specific system before buying anything tho.

Thanks! This world a while ago on my windows 10 laptop. But on my new windows 11, the vital usb section is gone! You have any idea how to adjust the usb setting so it doesn't sleep? It's causing so many problems for me.
