Optimal Deforum Animation Settings for Quality/Coherence
Ғылым және технология
I performed a search over strength vs camera movement in Deforum animations and I found that 0.6 strength with camera movement within 3% of stationary is a good starting point.

found your call to "make something" (and not simply "comment or subscribe") - refreshing. thus, you've earned both, sir.
At the end of this video.....hahahah...I cracked up hard...you're doing amazing man, cheers
thank you for getting straight to the point with the results.
holy sh*t, you just save my life, thank u for your dedication !!!!!
Thanks for this. Been messing with deforum lately and it's really cool.
Best CTA I have heard in a long time!
Man, give this man more followers and views, he deserve it. The beginning of the video was so... accurate
Golden Ratio: Zoom: 0.99 Strength: 0.6 Thanks man!
Your videos are amazing! The level of detail in the explanations makes all the difference. I'm glad there are channels like yours out there! Wishing you all the success in the world, brother.
this is extremely helpful dude :) I and im sure many others really appreciate you and the work you put in on this!!!
You solved my life in 8 minutes.
I continue to enjoy and appreciate your humor and knowledge - thank you for using your time to do these experiments and share.
Thanks man for your explanations and experiments! I appreciate you!
Time to make this chart my desktop background. Good stuff, thanks!
Your videos are amazing! ,Thank you so much.
LEGEND. Just what I needed then a background explanation of what I'm doing when I change these settings!
thank you so much for taking the time to make this and explain it so well!!

short, precise, perfect video! 👍
Thanks for putting the work in for us!
What a chad. gets straight to the point, no fucking around. May not be appreciated in the wider youtube community, but this is how you earn a sub in the techy part of youtube.

Bro you're a literal life saver thank you ❤
What an opener :D Love it!
thank you so much very helpful and straight to the point
Amazing! This is extremely useful information
The video that didn't turned out so well was my favorite. kind regards, a random artist
Dude, you are the man!
bro you,re goat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Improved considerably thanks
i have rendered for a music video over 100s of videos with different kind of animations and sometimes it was so hard to figure out what exactly was the problem. it was really time consuming at times which made me really frustrated. The need more educational content like tis video. Thank you bro!
This is some real stuff
Thank you so much!
Nice video, info was on point 👉
thank you!
Amazing work
Great video as usual, keep the good work! let's create!
nice to see someone taking an engineering approach to this problem
nice work thank you.
I make so many animations lol. Thank you so much for this video lol.
Okeee making a video and sending it to you when its finished !
thank you :)
I posit that you're actually having a good time, even when it goes wrong :)

Love the video and the approach, the patience alone is worth a like 😄 Wanted to ask though, what kind of seed traveling is the animation using? Static seed?
you legend
best youtuber!
🙌🏿🙌🏿thank you
THANK YOU😻😻😻🎈🎈🎈🧸🧸🧸👍👍👍
Thanks for all the information, man! Please keep up with the good work! I was wondering if you could possibly help me with something. My images seem to be working well, and I've even discovered that using a seed is a great way to ensure consistency across different animations. Perfect for drama. However, I'm having some trouble with the contrast in my images. As my image generation progresses, the contrast seems to increase, and I'm not quite sure how to modify this aspect. In fact, the image sequence ends up looking good a little bit more blurry, saturated, and contrasted. Do you know why this happens?
Thnks!
Even though I should not write a comment, here it is. Thanks for your try and error. I feel like higher strength is better to get better consistency. Otherwise the videos are flickering a lot. It may also be important on which FPS you are working. If you got more frames per second, you cant afford too much change, but if there are less frames per second, bigger change wont flicker too much.
dope
how do you have so less subs? your explanations are amazing dude.

He will grow as stable diffusion expands and becomes mainstream, its so new we are on the edge of all of this and he will be waiting for them at the gates with a smile, a cock ring and a tutorial.

@@ashen_kills hahahaha I appreciate the sentiment
Is there a way to interpolate from one keyframe to another, instead of deforum just iterating on individual frames? In traditional animation, you usually don't animate on the ones in a straight ahead way unless you're doing certain effects work (flame animation comes to mind), and you usually make two keyframes, as well as a timing marker that indicates the animation curve...Before then producing the inbetweens to go from one keyframe to the next. Is there a way to get closer to a traditional animation workflow taking this into account? Also, is it possible to use Deforum in combination with Controlnet, or multinet? Like, if you want a character to have elements of their appearance in certain parts of specific frames, could you specify a depth map for a hand to animate it across the screen?
Good video, and good night! Ha

what cadence and fps settings you found out work the best with the sweet spot settings?
I've been making videos with SD/Deforum and uploading to youtube for about 100 days. everyday :)

damn... he's not lying either
Did you experiment with no-zoom settings of 1 for 2d or 0 for 3D? I find zoom in works better for me often since then there is no outpainting distortion on a faster movement. zooming in fast works better then zooming out.

Agreed
When generating, how come it always crash or stop when I change the aspect ratio? It doesn't seem to be able to render anything beyond 512x512 for me. Is it because my hardware is too limited? (RuntimeError: The size of tensor a (304) must match the size of tensor b (288) at non-singleton dimension 1 ) I keep getting this type of message. Also I can do 0,30,60,90 frames but as soon as I try to do 120, it wont allow me either. I guess my my 1080 gt card is too weak.
I use 3d instead of 2d which one is the zoom then and what value would u recommend?
Hi. For me, the checkmark Deforum is active in extensions but I don't have it in tabs. Does anyone know what the reason is?
I have been getting those blurry lines problem in my outputs, its good till first 20frames then comes those lines, how do I fix ? this is the setting I used Strength Schedule - 0: (0.65),25: (0.55) T x - 0:(0.0),30:(10),60:(15),90:(8) T z - 0:(0.2),60:(10),60:(15)90:(8) R 3dx - 0:(0),30:(0),60:(0.5),90:(0.5) R 3d y - 0:(0),30:(-3.5),60:(0.5),90:(-2.8) R 3d z - 0:(0),30:(0.2),60:(0),90:(-0.5) Noise - 0:(-0.06*(cos(3.141*t/15)**100)+0.06)
Ahh shit. I just commented and subb'd
Ive been deep into deforum but didn't update til recently, sup with hybrid video?
Can you show exactly which setting and "how" to edit that in Deforum? Because I'm not good at math lol.
Like and huge respect for your work! However this still proves very limited use of deforum (as well as that whole AI) for real consistent animated production. Fun to play with? Absolutely. A real tool for an animation artist even with acception of this very “special” stylistics - barely. YT is already full of these animations and it’s a matter of very short time when people would start saying “not again, not another one of these hallucinogenic animations”. Wish we could keep this all among experimentators till something consistent starts to appear as current results are just going to undermine the whole thing.
how do i use controlnet in deforum
Does anyone know how to use lora/hypernetworks in deforum?
I don't see much difference to what the seed travel extension does, maybe aside from the zoom option.
why would you use zoom < 0 anyway...?
Try use a fine tuned model and not the base 1.5, you get way more consistency.
Why not making 1 or 2 frames per seconds with high denoising strenght, then adding frame interpolation to the final result. And then remaking img2img with all the new frames with a bit of strenght ? Someone tested it ? Thanks again for your video, they are always good !
Interesting approach ... but it gets a little bit more complicated once you add panning and rotations. I post example settings for my clips sometimes (e.g. kzread.info/dash/bejne/hZpp07Whn5nYYbQ.html )
