Sequential ray tracing is a core technology in OpticStudio. Sequential ray tracing is used to model almost all imaging systems, including afocal systems. It is fast, flexible, and easy to optimize and tolerance. With the sequential approach, light travels from surface to surface in a defined order. This simplifies ray tracing, as we always know which surface a ray will hit next. OpticStudio supports both sequential and full non-sequential ray tracing to provide complete capabilities for any system.

    Hi, How can I change the object height? when given a dia in semi-dia column it shows, please change the object height in field dialog.

    Zemax is a powerful engine and so on but what it lacks is some easy to understand, for beginners type tutorial video series. This entire series might be very useful for few but for beginners like me and some others, this already requires some understanding of the basics. This is sad : (
