Wow! That was something. It's weird how they charge premium and get the same work done in the set time frame, while they cannot when not paid premium.

I believe they transfer it to a private company. You can see it when you pay the premium fees.

The worst part is students living in remote areas with no public transportation. DL expires on the sate same as EAD. There are states which gives 120 days of temporary DL. And the stem EAD if not delivered on time you cannot get it renewed. Happened with me, I was lucky enough to receive my EAD 2 days before my temp DL was about to expire. USCIS has to understand it’s not just EAD there are other documents too which gets linked with it for an international students.

Premium processing is not required that much for stem opt because once you apply for stem opt before your opt expire and stem opt application is pending , uscis automatically give 180 days extension after opt expires, I confirm this with my international advisor and also its on uscis site.

If uscis taking decision to reject your application at the first place then even if you go for premium processing it wont change. Here my point is unnecessary paying premium processing fee when you will get 180 days once you apply before opt ends.

Coincidentally today is my last day of Post OPT and my STEM starts tomorrow. It’s been a week since I had applied for the extension and have paid for premium processing as I anticipate a job change. I wanted to ask about this. What’s the process in case I get a new job offer and how to go about considering that I’ve filed the extension this late?

Hi Parth, could you please make a video discussing which country is better to take a loan from: India or the USA? Specifically, it would be great if you could compare factors like insurance costs, international transaction fees, and remittance charges as many Indian loan provider deducts these kind of cost from loan... Or so I have heard...

You can't consider taking a loan from US unless you have a US bank account in your name and you can't have that till you reach here. However you can always refinance your Indian loan here in USA

If you already have your STEM OPT I-20 you should be fine.
