Sunny T I don't follow Oprah but I think she may have lost patience for racism and made a really rash comment. I don't think she sees that as the solution, she knows it's better to work out differences and preach love instead of hate. From what I know, she's like that.

She took no offense when Stephen told her that he hasn't seen the show. Even appreciated him for being honest. I love her energy and her positivity. I missed her show.

charlie 1963 There you go! Makes sense. But, can you explain why Trump is always frowning. See, money doesn't necessarily make you happy. Happy has to be in you before the money ever shows up. Some people are happy without lots of money. Money is not the end all be all. I think Oprah can be happy because of all the people she has spent her money on. Being able to give with such generosity is truly the most rewarding part of life. For that Oprah Winfrey is admired and loved by all of us. Money is worthless if you don't have a heart and the mind to use it for good.

Ksunsetave 100 percent agree. I usually watch Stephen and am occasionally tickled by his interviews. The interviews normally provide a moment or two of hilarity amongst the mundane remainder of discussing boring stories and bad commercialization of the interviewees latest project, but this interview had me smiling almost the entire time.

Stephen really allowed Oprah to talk. Great interview! You can feel that she was able to say the things she want to say.

Seems like you dont understand how our process works. You realize he cant be elected to another term right? Like most people who talk about Obama you dont want to admit that that he was an intelligent moderate president and instead of come up with cogent points you just repeat the negative talking points of the right. Also just because people dont want something doesnt mean their right. Thats ridiculous. The electoral college exists so the mob doesnt have full control over the election process.
It's good to see the "glasses swap" tradition has carried over into the Late Show. As a guy who's legally blind in one eye (not blind, just legally because of how awful my right eye is), I love when people say "Hey, Adam, let me try your glasses!" and then they admit it's like being on LSD. :-P

In response to some people's very negative comments here: I'm American. I'm not black. Long before any of us knew of the Obamas, I loved and admired Oprah. I still do. The Obamas have been an inspiration. Government and politics are never perfect but I never doubted his administration had its heart in the right place. And yes--a politician with heart!
