I love OPR battle reports. That alternating unit activations feels so much better than aos "I move my whole army and then you move yours". That gives so more action into gameplay.

I'm really liking the these OPR battle reports. I'm not in love with GW. Seeing people actually enjoying a game without having to refer to endless special case rules is a real treat.

Ye it’s a lot more fun when you don’t have to consider years of power creep and nearly everything has AP, extra damage, saves etc. much more streamlined

the only part i dislike about OPR are some of the naming conventions like i get wanting to be model agnostic but come on lets see some more creativity

I will emphasize this again. Thank you so much for making great quality videos and covering one page rules. There are a few other channels out their that do the same thing but they do skirmish or just single player games which aren't as entertaining to watch. Your armies look fantastic, you edit your videos well, I love the banter that comes from multiplayer games, the board is fantastic, and y'all are great people.

I love these OPR battle reports, they're so much quicker and easier than the GW equivalents. Edit: If you guys do another one of these, I'd personally love to see the 'mummified undead'.

Great battle report and I like the side notes on strategy of your activations and actions. One thing I don't love about these rules is being able to maneuver wherever you like before a charge, given sufficient movement allowance. A charge should really be a move in a direct path to the target enemy unit, not a sweep around to gain an objective before doubling back to charge. Such a gamey maneuver defeats the game mechanic of pseudo simultaneity by alternating activations. This is fixed in OPR AoF Regiments, but would also make a lot of sense for this version.

Loving OPR right now, way more than AoS. I only wish the ogres had impact like in AoS. But even still my ogres wiped up my buddies demons of change or whatever Tzeench is called. Cool looking Craignos as well.

A couple takeaways: OPR's legally distinct naming conventions are hilarious. Orcs, especially buffed ones on the charge are horrifying. I wonder how well the OPR's rank and flank version does at streamlining that type of game and how well it compares to like Oathmark.

Great content, seems like y'all had good fun playing. It does seem like you guys either intentionally play loose and fast with the rules or missed a few (can't move within 1" of other units unless charging, units block LOS, melee attackers must be within 2" of target base to be elligible) but the goal is fun and it looks like you achieved that!
