The quality of the zoom pics is spectacular.

I currently have the Oppo Find X5 Pro and I love it, apart from one slight issue... During extended video recording, the phone tends to get quite hot and sometimes closes the camera app and wont let me use it until it's cooled down a bit. So, when you mentioned the improved thermals in this review that definitely peaked my interest. During your testing did you notice anything like that with this one?

I have noticed in some reviews that they mention that this is a problem in Qualcomm 8 Gen 1, but this thermal problem is solved in this Qualcomm 8 Gen 2.

@@RennieAsh That can be fixed with HD Camera, a superb app that is simply game changing for all Android devices. Not only do you have multiple choices for audio sources, but it unironically does sound better, and you can access beyond 1080p selfie recording.

Oppo have done something equally insane by skipping out on the international release!!

4K on the selfie camera is easily achieved with the use of non-stock camera apps like mcpro24fps or open camera…especially mcpro is amazing as it offers 4K/30 with up to 200mbps stable video even in Dolby Vision (the same applies for Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Vigo X90pro + etc..).

I'm still using the Oppo Find X2 Pro and after three years it's still running as if it has the SD Gen 2. And Oppo supported this device significantly with timely software updates. I'm running the latest Android version in three years of using the phone and they're some of the first companies that push out the new software updates after Google launch it

@@kpehe100 I'm getting 8 hour and some minutes using 1080p and 60hz. My battery life is 88%. I use (and bought) Accubatery for 6 month now and so far it's pretty accurate. I play some game on it (Domination) so it's not exactly light usage.

An unbeatable smartphone that makes vlogging cams redundant. Many have a good processor and screen, but this camera makes it a top-of-the-line phone. Would like to see a comparison between the Oppo Find X6 and a mid-range vlogging camera such as the Nikon Z30 for example. It's not entirely fair, but let's see what this marvel of technology can achieve.

Hello Nick, This is Mohammed from Saudi Arabia. I'm really interested in this phone and would like to order it from Ali Express. However, I've heard that the phone has some cons since it's dedicated to the Chinese market, for example: I've heard that even though it supports Dolby vision HDR, this feature will not be working with some platforms including KZread, some people also say that google assistance is not working with the Phone, these might be slight props but for me they are deal breaker as I will be using the phone mainly for content consumption. Oppo is one of those Chinese phones you can use anywhere in the world without a global ROM. And I think they support the Chinese version more than the international one. I'm using the Find X2 pro and I can't feel like I'm using a China ROM phone

I use Oppo Find X5 Pro and the selfie camera never bothered me. Although, with the price, we should expect the phone to have a capable 4K selfie camera. A bit disappointed that X6 Pro hasn't improved the selfie camera

I think the only true difference for me with my Chinese version Xiaomi Mix 4 is poor 5G reception, some Chinese Apps that are annoying to disable or uninstall, and not being able to use the Google Assistant as easily as I can on other global Android phones. All annoyances that have little to no affect on my daily use. I'd buy the global if given a choice though.

Translation is very basic, no need to worry. I’m a mainland user but use English system language all the time. Google Pay and other google services are not installed as default but can easily install by yourself. 5G/LTE bands vary from countries so you’d check the detailed specs.

I was planing to get this phone, but as it's not coming to Europe, I just got myself the s23 ultra. The only thing that is a bit annoying is the slow charging of about 1 hour untill full. Oppo and Xiaomi are better there. However, Apple and Google take one hour more.... I did not get a Xiaomi because of the bad update support and I don't like the software. But at the s23 ultra the camera, software, s pen, display, fingerprint reader and the fast software updates are great. Plus the battery life with the 8 gen 2 for galaxy is amazing 10 hours of screen on time and about 1.5-2 days of ussage is no problem. So i don't mind charging it for about an hour.

Fast charging will only hurt your battery life in long term use. So don’t regret.

I have the find X5 pro and the negative fast charging myths are simply NOT true! I was so amazed to see while I was charging my phone the other day that the software protected the battery by switching to a lower charge because I suddenly started to play a heavy game. After playtime I checked the temperature and once it dropped back to normal levels the Ultra fast charging resumed that's Class 👌 With the X6 pro it goes even further it starts a benchmark app to create heat so it can charge in very cold weather conditions Why huge brands keep the charging speeds low has everything to do with ecosystems than battery safety Remember the exploding batteries from one of the biggest slow charging phone brands?!

​@@MrHarvenator The Note 7's exploding battery issue had nothing to do with the charging speed. The reason was the internals were so cramped that the battery had little to no room to breathe which resulted in overheating of the battery and explosion. I still have mine which has a Note 7 FE battery and it runs perfectly fine.

Two minus points 1 - 1080p 30fps recording from front camera 2 - no ultrasonic fingerprint reader apart from that everything looks perfect

@@mst4001 coz no other brand except Vivo has that. The day Ultrasonic FS becomes the industry standard(basically Samsung or Apple starts using it) that day OPPO will give it too. As of now, US is limited to Vivo. And even if they are both under BBK electronics, they operate completely separate from each other. Both have different patients, different charging tech, different Image processing,etc
