When I saw it in IMAX, "Can You Hear The Music?" literally shook me.

He came a long way from making music for Childish Gambino to being an Oscar winner. Love that for Ludwig 👏🏽

The score for Oppenheimer was damn near another character in the film. It elevated the work and contributed to that relentless feeling the film had. What the Oppenheimer crew achieved will stand the test of time. It's a film that speaks to what an ensemble is capable of when you honor every single part of the film making process.

As much as I love the classic Godzilla themes in -1. It was the new music that made Godzilla -1 deserve best score. Oppenheimer was a close second though, so this is good enough.

@@chickenandbeeftrue, same reason all 3 of the Star Wars sequel trilogy films were nominated for best original score. As much as people hate on those new movies, I personally loved them and thought some of the pieces of music were among the best in the series.

I haven’t seen Oppenheimer but still was PRAYING that Oppenheimer won this award, the score is just truly amazing.

Ludwig Göransson composed the score, and Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell composed the 4*Town songs, for Disney/Pixar's _Turning Red._ And now all three have won their 2nd Oscars for _Barbenheimer._ ☺☺☺

Been a long time fan of Ludwig long time. Well deserved.

Ludwig is a true master of his craft. I believe he also worked on the Black panther soundtrack edit: he won an oscar for BP apparently. 😂

I didn’t realize I’ve heard his scores before. First time I saw him was on a documentary for the Mandalorian. He did an incredible job on that. What a major win! I have a feeling he’s going to be one of the legends like John Williams!

I knew when I saw fruitvale station he was going to win Oscars in the future

He also did the scores for both Creed films which I loved..an he I think scored the 2014 Godzilla film also

I first learned of him from his work in the tv show community. now he is an academy award winner.

I'm a wood worker, so I listed to alot of music through headphones while I'm in the shop to drown out the power tool noises, and I've listen to the soundtrack of this film almost daily. It put's me in such a good headspace and I mean the entire soundtrack.

Ludwig deserved this.. the score was so beautiful. The ending scene focused on Cillians eyes and the score..so moving.

I like how even though many of the nominees of the technical categories were seated toward the back, when one of the Oppenheimer nominees won Christopher Nolan stood up and greeted every single one of them on their way to the stage ❤

I saw Oppenheimer in IMAX 70mm. It was fantastic

Pity it wasn’t Hans Zimmer doing this score. As amazing as Ludwig’s score was, I prefer Hans Zimmer as Christopher Nolan’s composer.

Ludwig is easily one of my favorite movie composers, and i’m really happy for his second win! However, when he said “instead of video games”, it hit me a bit negatively. I’m not mad, I’m not the angry fat kid that most people see as the stereotypical gamer, and I don’t want this man crucified. I’m sure as hell he had no negative intentions when saying this. He was just giving his life story, and he just wanted to thank his parents for guiding him down such a successful career path. I’m simply here to say that video games can be art too. Once again, congratulations to Ludwig on his second Oscar. Don’t harass Ludwig or his family in any way shape or form.

The score makes or breaks a movie.

The music editing in this film was HORRIBLE. Anyone that isn’t proficient in English or is even semi-hard of hearing has to watch with subtitles. The dialogue is inaudible throughout the film. But congrats on making good music 😂
