WOW this looks insane. I got to watch it on a retrofit imax and it was good but nothing close to this. I wish there a 70mm or at least a laser imax near me.

I saw it on both 70MM IMAX on a 65 foot tall screen and laser IMAX on an 80 foot screen and I do feel like there might have been more detail and crispness with the 70MM IMAX.

O no it was probably because I’m filming off my phone

There is a mild flicker, but video recording can amplify it due to frame rate mismatch. Similar thing happens when you record an old tube TV and don’t set the right capture rate.

@@moexilla Late reply, but that was exactly what happened lol. Phones by default record at 30fps; the movie was 24fps. Hence, flicker.

When the timing of the projector is off it can cause a flicker. Its a part of calibration that the projectionist is supposed to fix before the movie. My first viewing had the flicker, wasn’t too distracting, but noticeable. My parents however did not notice
