I do mine about the same way but I stabilize my pine cone with cactus juice in a vacuum chamber.

Very good idea for an Opinel but it's a shame that the handle is not profiled with the blade, it would be even prettier. The opinion of a Frenchman who loves the Opinel.
Petite astuce pour retirer la virole, prendre une pince à clips avec ressort qui s'écarte quand on la serre en main, comme pour sortir un clips dans une gorge sur un axe en mécanique.
Perso j'aurais laissé la lame bien polie et brillante, mais superbe couteau 👍🙏😁

マスターはいい仕事をしましたが、なぜクラシックナイフを分解するのか分かりませんか？ オリジナルのハンドルにオリジナルのブレードを作ってみませんか？ The master did a good job, but I don’t understand why to disassemble the classic knife? Why not make the original blade for the original handle?
