Opie's Story About Replacing Anthony

Ойын-сауық

SHOW: 'The Anthony Cumia Show'
AIR DATE: May 05, 2021
Anthony reviews a video of Opie telling a story about trying to replace Anthony. Opie's recollection of the situation seems to be off. He said he "passed" on Artie Lange, because he didn't want to work with another addict. Jim Breuer was definitely one of his choices.

Some of my favorite moments are Ant talking about his old air conditioning days and being ticketed by the bridge and tunnel officer. I cannot imagine how chopped up those stories would be with Opie there. "Hold on! hold on! Tim in New Brunswick used to install air conditioners too; let's hear what he has to say. Tim! What do you have for the show, brother?" "Uh, yeah. I just wanted to say that I worked air conditioning before and Ant is right, it sucks..." "Alllllright."

Keith England he had some great lines here and there for sure some real shock humor stuff when he lands for me but when he swings and misses/bombs/gets completely ignored can be funnier sometimes. That said his balls out tryhard cringe inducing antics and desire to orchestrate vaguely to extremely cruel torment on others is where he shined the brightest. It would be a springboard for so much more. Sometimes he didnt know when to shut his mouth or let funny be funny or maybe not take that unfunny caller but he was the spine of the show. But he was tired of listening to Anthony make "another rant against blacks" (Who says "blacks" anymore lol) Opie can't even resist using racism to attack Anthony, proving yet again that Opie's mind is legit racist, expecting black people to automatically side with him after he uses them as a weapon to attack Ant. When someone has the ability to actually say what's on their mind, & give an honest opinion like Anthony does, it's so much better.. Opie failed to realize, despite Patrice's many explanations, that just coming out & admitting your prejudices makes you infinitely more respectable, & less racist by the way, because you at least acknowledge that you have those thoughts, like everyone else.

I would love to have Ant to reaction videos to some of the old O and A (especially with Patrice) shows. When you re listen and have blatant points where... what the fuck happened there, was Patrice looking at you when Opie derailed convos? We’re you all talking after the show picking at how much of a train wreck he was and how when was essentially gregg shells. I know Patrice HAD to have mentioned something

I don’t know if Patrice really meant it, but he brought it up when he was talking to Jim about face off. Jim convinced Patrice that Face Off was a horrible movie. Opie chimed in saying Patrice was a bad friend and that someone could convince Patrice that he wasn’t Opie’s friend. Patrice elaborated that if someone systematically pointed out why Opie sucks, he would have to agree.

Thx Ant. I've learned so much about malignant narcissists like Opie. Who seemed to try to manipulate the staff and sirius like they're 5 years old and don't know what's going on. Unfortunately with people like that you have no recourse, they're so dumb, there's no changing them. You describe it so well lmao.
