Yeah this is how you destroy morale and ensure your staff hand in bad work, what's the point in effort if your boss doesn't recognize it? No wonder the show was losing listeners and syndications in its last 3 years, it peaked in 09-11 and went downhill dramatically until the end, that's why sirius were prepared to lose the show when they fired Anthony, btw he was pure cringe throughout this, the fella has no backbone he just sits their stroking opies ego. That's why his ex wife took him to the cleaners, he was too scared to go to court and literally cried to the judge that he couldn't do it soon as he took the stand.

First of all HVAC isn’t a “bad life” that’s a damn good job most people have to go to school for that, Anthony was a diva but if he could’ve found a little work ethic he would’ve stuck to it he probably would’ve made more money than Opie on the overnights. Jim Norton was already a comedian with real connections like Colin Quinn, and Dice. Opie road their coattails, he would still be doing overnights with no name and without millions of undeserved dollars.

Getting stuck in traffic at 5 am, living and working in NY must be fun.

How the hell can Opie say Dennis Falcone is lazy? The guy goes above and beyond for his job! All the while Opie, the human handbrake, would leave everything to the staff and act like it was his own work. Even in this clip. Its not because its cool to hate on opie, its because opie is shit. He's a dullard, luckily its enjoyable hearing his idiocy most of the time, but when he goes full out, yeah, I do turn it off My favorite thing about opie currently is you can tell how good of a thought he thinks he had by how many times he repeats the same exact phrase.

Sam reminds me of the little animal that was with Jaba the hut.

Sal being in the right here is so funny in hindsight. That weasel Travis just wants to look good and couldn't wait to throw Sal to the wolves

travis is an under-rated crew member.

I had work ethic very similar to Erock's and it always caused me trouble. He's been reprimanded about it at least 3 times in front of the mic and several other off mic I'm sure. People shit on Sam a lot, but he was on point and he's always commended on his work ethic. I'm really taking a liking to what he has to say. And yes, Erock is lying through his teeth. He wanted to cover his ass and Sal isn't much better.
