Opie & Anthony: Golden Globes 2011 (01/18, 01/20 & 02/07/11)

Комедия

Ricky Gervais is accused of excessive meanness and Robert DeNiro delivers an electrifying speech. Stephen Merchant and Piers Morgan are asked about the Ricky Gervais controversy.
To listen to The Opie & Anthony Show live, you'll have to travel back in time before Sirius XM fired co-host Anthony Cumia in the most cowardly fashion possible. An e-mail...pathetic. These plugs have sent plenty of subscribers to Sirius XM. No more. Subscribe to The Anthony Cumia Show at anthonycumia.com instead.
I would also recommend listening to the radio show, Opie with Jim Norton. I won't plug where to listen but I would hope you know where not to listen.

Opie never ceases to have the absolute worst takes imaginable. And notice how he went to callers to pander to his garbage takes? It literally STOPPED the entire flow of the show completely. No one in the studio agreed with him, he has two talented people on studio that are paid millions to talk on air, and he gives the floor to some random idiot on the phone to capitulate to his garbage takes to make him feel useful at his job. He’s not, he’s garbage, he stinks.

Steve Carrel isnt that funny. What he is is a decent actor. 40 yr old virgin - hes the normal joe straight man. Hes great as the depressed guy in lil miss sunshine. Killed it in Foxcatcher (though the director butched the film) Funny in the office (but again because he cab act and you love the character) He played a tard in Anchorman which in all fairness was hilarious balanced against the other guys.

Denero looks like such a happy little baby holding his shiny toy. Ugh. He has lost his mind & has taken mostly horrible roles for 20 years. The irishman & the joker this year the best things hes done. I think he got lost when scorsese dropped him for DiCaprio who has gotten all the best roles. Pacino still takes interesting roles never spouts off about politics & still does theater. Love pacino. When he did the sex & the city joke mr big chris noth was caught laughing .

@@whaleycoyote5226 well that's sorta recent. I think its universally agreed upon that denero did his best work & it happened to be several collaborations w/ scorsese. So when he was doing good roles it rubbed off to other directors & actors to cast him. He started doing horrible embarrassing comedies 20 years ago . His wife wasnt leaving him 20 years ago ^ screwing up his money & if he cant get a handle on his wife spending habits he should have handled that. Like johnny Carson had 3 divorced & never got a pre nup but he made enough money & was smart enough w/ his money that when he stupidly gave half his fortune away as calif is a community property State where the wife gets half unless their is a pre nup. He didnt keep doing the tonight show til he was too old & being carried off a stretcher. So I guess my point is put the blame on denero that he married such a person. Everyone blames everyone else . Even w/o the wife thing whether he had enough money to retire or not 20 years ago the fact remains he has been making really bad films for a very long time & w/o Scorsese the quality of his films & acting in general left. He even made that joke at a tribute/roast to don rickles. It was funny b/c it was true. Notice scorsese went on to make quality films the last 20 years w/ DiCaprio & it's not a coincidence at the same time denero stopped making decent films. I was embarrassed for him 13 years ago when he made " little fockers " to be honest meet the fockers was embarrassing. Ben Stiller really is a talentless idiot & all his movies are terrible. Reality bites was his big debut as a director & actor & it was awful. Hated it. Was the most annoying movie ever. ThE L N

Carrell is actually pretty fucking amazing. Doesn't always do great movies but his work in The Office was insanely good ; I know that he benefitted from Gervais' work but he really took his role to the next level. And by the way he does a huge amount of improvisation on the Office. In fact it's what makes the show funny ; the randomness and free-flowing aspect of some of the utter bullshit Michael Scott spouts. You could see how good he was starting from season 8 when they had to do without him ; the show was never really funny again
