The Health wasn't dropped by the boss, it's hidden inside one of the stalagmites on the grounds.

The Level 30 Electropylon Driver with Tendrils is the best weapon. You can make a web of energy from the orbs to Ophion’s eyes and destroy him quickly.

Thanks dude, just beat it first try. never got the full health drop but did have a Parasite that regained health when low. saved me!....felt so amazing, it was like a 4 hour run that I spent all 30 Ether in! I was all in and just barely beat it!

Wow this is actually the only boss I got on the first try thanks to your guide, only really got hit like twice! It also helped that I had the fully auto launcher which did MASSIVE damage and I finished so quick

Thanks for the tips, I beat it on my first ever try. How ironic...game is hard af but final boss is a walk in the park. However, it took me 5 cycles to get to the boss. Last biome is crazy hard, before the boss.

Loved all your guides on this fantastic game. All the bosses for me were easier than the toughest mobs in those rounds. Beat Ophion within 3minutez with a level beefed up 30 carbine. Fantastic game. Love your content. Keep it up

The game is procedurally generated. There's only so much you can guarantee in a guide or walkthrough.

bimoe 6 was pretty cool i actually did in 1 run, it was biome 5 that kicked my ass then i realized i just needed the electropylon driver saved my it's fianl run almost like a land mine on steroids , set it up even before eneies spawn and you're golden shoot it anywhere close to an enemy and you won't even get a scratch

I saw that you use a Hollow, and so i went back to look for one.... and all I saw was the Electropylon which I wasnt familiar with it, but I took it, and it was fkn great, it connect all those spots on his body.... got hit only once

The carbine is the best weapon for this boss. Just follow the instructions in the video and target one eye at a time, empty one whole clip to one eye usually does it.

Portal Beam is a massive help for this fight. I got to phase 3 first try with it and just died because of severe malfunctions.

I just beat Ophion for the first time with a level 15 Electropylon Driver. Strange how this boss only took me 2 attempts but Phrike wrecked me lmao

Somehow beat him with a level 17 Rotgland Lobber, even though I found higher level weapons along the way. Lobber is the OG!! 😂🙌🏼 Go in with what you’re comfortable using

I don't know what it is about the boss fights in this game but I really enjoyed them. They are super fun and a couple are challenging. The game does have its issues and it's not perfect but damn is it fun to play. When you have those right assets dropping and you're getting the things that you want. The game does make you feel powerful. But you can go through several runs before you find that one run that drops most of what you want. It's worth it to play through those times. I got reset after I beat the piano boss did that happen to you guys?

Yeah after piano boss fight you restart at biome 4. After you beat the game you can revisit biome 1-3 but I had to refight the boss on the floating platforms in order to go to biome 4-6. But I don't mind this game is crazy intense.

Yeah you get reset after fighting Nemesis on the floating platforms, and I was pissed had my integrity maxed out at 300 and then went back to 100 smh

beat this boss in first try health drop and hollowseeker portal beam is lifesaver

lvl 26 lobber and i killed him without any items on 1st try lol, that weapon is badass! and i suck at the game so much, so thats something :D

This boss reminds me of the creepy baby alien hybrid from Alien Resurrection

Use the pylon driver easy peasy

Even tho i had 160% of integrity, and the astronaut, i kept dying. Then i watched your video and focused on the blue balls and the eyes and managed to beat it fairly easily in one go with a electropylon driver 25 ! Thanks !

I went into Nemesis with the Hollowseeker and lost 3 times. With the Rotgland lobber got him on the first try, same with the fourth boss. I don't get why it's ranked so low by people. Damage over time and low fire rate allow you to focus more on dodging.

I beat this boss in like 5mins and 1 Medkit and 2 small heals on me, I also had the biggest health bar with lvl 5 Adrin I got hit 3 times in total, definitely wasn’t the hardest boss fight.

Yeah i beat it first try too, it was fairly easy

Just got to the boss and died and had 2 large health packs that I did not use as was concentrating on everything else :'(

My weapon of choice was the Electropylon Driver at level 25. It was easier for me because there's less work to do. The weapon damaged all of its eyes and it killed Ophion faster.

Just did it on my 1st try.. didn't get a health pickup.. only barely made it.. probably one hit away from death.. i had no really good items or any health pickups.. used most of my items getting the key..

The Problem with the weapons is you dont get the weapon of your choice and even if you got it The stats of the weapon are not balances well. Sometime the bonus damage you are looking for is not that powerful. etc

If I die in Returnal one more time, I'll be Returning the game to GameStop.

@Robby Cross I was actually ok because I didn't realize there was another biome before you fight him and no boss on the 5th biome so I got to pick up some health in the 6th biome. He was actually one of the easier bosses, especially with the pylon driver.

The final boss is your lag, wow

I have shit malfunctions against this boss I’m screwed.

Electropylon is by far *THE BEST* weapon to fight this boss with. Simply reveal the weak parts; shoot them a few times, and focus on dodging the rest of the time. The boss only hit me twice and I killed it in under 2 minutes. Actually very disappointing.

I used the Electropylon too, it's insane against tough enemies. Like you, beat this boss in under 2 minutes ... Disappointed ? Nah, it took me about 5 hours to get to it, I just wanted to beat the game by this point. I really don't know if I would try again if I died ...

The pylon is probably the best weapon overall, I dont have as much fun with it though usually since like you said you can forget about fighting for a bit and just dodge.

I actually found this to be the easiest boss in the entire game. Idk if it was just because I was so good by that point or what. Manged to beat the game in 14 hours with only 7 deaths, which I think is not too bad. God what a masterpiece this is. It has become one of my favorite games of all time. I can't wait to play through it again and find all the Sunface fragments for the true ending.

Yeah I wish the bosses in the game were more challenging in general. I only bought returnal because of the amount of comments I’ve seen praising the game for being a difficult masterpiece. I think a lot of those people just don’t have much experience with shooters because it wasn’t as hard as I thought it’d be. Just finished it and I loved it don’t get me wrong but it was pretty underwhelming

At this part is a necessary to clear second biome? Because I died at this boss after fifth biome because I didn't know that I need to shoot all this balls. It feels so easy after I find it, but my one hit hp killed me at last wawe)) is there some fast travel to boss on fifth biome?

The ice biome? You can come right to abyssal scar from the fourth biome, or, if you want to go to the fifth for some items, you can get to abyssal scar through the whirlpool in the main item room.

You don't ever need to clear biomes after you finish them. So if you start back at the Echoing Ruins (biome 4), then you can run straight to the entrance to the Abyssal Scar. I always recommend replaying through biomes, though, as the powerups you get along the way will make the journey easier.

I went into this blind and didn't figure out until late that I just need to reveal the red nodules to shoot by shooting the energy balls. After that, he went down on my second try. This is a really easy boss, all things considered.

I believe you missed a boss? This should be boss #6. Have a walkthrough for the actual 5th boss? From the snowy area. EDIT: Nevermind! Just found out that there wasn't a boss for the 5th biome. I was trying to prep before going into that vault haha. You're videos have helped a lot!

Beat it first try! The easiest Boss in whole game! I haven't used even my health vial! However I had Leach Rounds...

Honestly kind of an underwhelming final boss when you consider how great boss 2, 3, and 4 were.

I agree. I expected something harder. I wonder if it's just a case of having played the game for so long, so now you're good at it and nothing is standing in your way, or if they made it easier than Hyperion on purpose.

This boss wasn't nearly as difficult as I thought...or maybe I just got better at the game.

Absolutely hate all the purple circles and lasers this boss spawns. Hate this boss anyway. Some weapons are useless vs it.

The easiest boss, I die at least 4 to 5 time on all the bosses besides this one.

I found him incredibly easy. Didn't take a single point of damage and killed him on my first attempt. The first boss took me two attempts. All other bosses I killed on the first attempt with the 4th being the most difficult for me. I found the enemies in Biome 6 way more difficult than the boss.

This boss is honestly the only one I actively hated and it is in the worst biome in the game.

I go crazy watching this, let alone play it. Not for me...

Wtf was that! such a disappointing end boss :(
