@@puppetmaster8551 Gojira has amazing vocals, better riffs, more creativity, way better drumming, and a better discog. I love Opeth but I literally don’t like about 50% of their songs when it’s just soft vocals and acoustic guitar for 15 minutes. Not my style at all

Opeth is a collective of endless talent and excellence in composition. Thanks for reacting to them. To the naysayers out there: Just because something isn't necessarily your cup of tea, does not mean it is without talent. Do you know how incredibly hard it is to flip from false vocal chords (growls) to true vocal chords (clear vocals) and how much talent that takes? A lot, I can assure you, Noise? Lol, they said the same types of things about Mozart a couple hundred-ish years ago... :)

Thanks for this great reaction! Do wanna comment on the mellotron not being an advanced synth though. A genuine mellotrone is an old keyboard instrument with an actual tape loop for every key. Most commonly with recorded choir, strings or flute. The imperfection of the tape speed and playback quality ensures an organic and a bit eerie vibe. There are new ones being made since that retro prog sound became popular again. Also electronic emulators of course, but that's kinda cheating 😉

Think of Swedish Chef right away... love Swedish Fish and Swedish meatballs! Being that I am a third Swedish. Ty's face at the beginning was priceless. Not loving the growl. But when he sings at 4:15 not bad. At 8:46 he sorta sounded like Bo Burnham.😀 Drums were fire at 10:20. Almost sounds like two songs woven together. Solo was pretty good. Some parts really captured my attention. Need to listen to more. Also probably need to see the lyrics. But you are passionate about this song it is worth the listen.
