Operation Wolf Arcade Cabinet
Here is a video showing off our Operation Wolf in our home arcade. I briefly talk about some of the things I did to the cabinet and show off some gameplay. Bear in mind I am not very good at this game and that second level is super hard 🤣 I hope you enjoy!

Operation Wolf rocked my arcade world with the recoil feedback in the Uzi. It was amazing. Time Crisis blew me away another 10yrs after that. I miss arcades. Days gone by.
One of my all time favourites. Brings back great memories as a kid at the seaside amusement arcades here in the in the UK. My Dad used to enjoy playing this too. Would love the space and money to get an original cabinet

I would not be surprised if Arcade1up will make a version as well now that they have solve the issue with light guns working on LCD screens. It will be a smaller version and more easier to maneuver if that suits your needs

I love playing operation wolf in the arcade especially the vibration of the gun feel realistic. But to play one game that time was a bit expensive for me as a kid.

Luckily operation wolf these days doesn't have a high resale value so if you wanted to acquire one you could do so cheaper in relation to other cabinets
Man, this cabinet is awesome and I bet firing the machine gun is very satisfying. That's one of the things I love about arcade games, these unique setups that can't be replicated at home. It's a shame that Operation Wolf never got a proper light gun conversion at home.

That's for sure. The gun still shoots and feels like it did when I was a child.
i loved this game back in the day, uzis and ninjas were the rage back in those days
One of my earliest memories is my mom taking me to the mall and they had this in sears towards the entrance. Definitely a cool piece of nestolgia
Awesome game, I use to have this one

I never did get good at this game. I sold it to the local arcade where it's being enjoyed by a lot of people
Wow that is a lot louder than I remember.

Plus it's not in the middle of an arcade with many machines going and people talking. But you get used to it and it's fun!
SWEET GAME, love from England!

Yeah honestly I got sick of trying so I sold it to my local arcade. I honestly thought there was something wrong with my game but I played it at galloping ghost and same goes

@@kazelasarcade ive only seen 2 or 3 ppl in all my life actually get through the 2nd wave. there is a few ppl on youtube that can do it also. but for me its impossible. plus the sound that plays when you are low on health for real. gives me anxiety like no shit haha
I still remember it was like yestardy I was very young my parents took me to the city soon as I seen the cab with the uzi it was like I was drawn straight to it once my parents put some coins inside I didn't wanna leave

Very similar experience for me as well. Here in Michigan we have pizza places known as Little Caesars. Back in the day there was caesarland which was very similar to Chuck e cheese. Anyhow we used to frequent Caesarland and I remember the first time I saw it on the floor I was immediately drawn and hooked.
awesome 😎
Now I like this game👍😀

Awesome game! Have u had to do anymore repairs to the game? I just picked one up. Are parts hard to find?

Sadly I no longer have this in my collection. But I did not need anything else other than what I mentioned in the video. It's a great game. Parts are a little hard to come by but not impossible. There are other units out there. Just make sure your power supply is good and that's half the battle right there
You have to get the Afterburner cabinet.

I used to have an afterburner I sold it because somebody offered me an incredible amount of money for it. I would love to find another!
Im jealous :/
Nice cabinet! I can already see from the way you play level 1 that you'll never clear level 2. Apart from fixing that loose gun, try to be faster and more accurate. Level 1 should not cause you any hits at all.
👍🏼👍🏼
I have this game on mame. Do you know how I can set up a gun for this on my pc. Thank you

I'm sure there are ways to play on the PC but I do not know how you would set that up. I do know however that it is available on the Pandora's box DX. Instead of using a gun at the cursor is on screen and works with the joysticks

It's so hard! Crosshairs can't be displayed in the physical machine. Fortunately, we can activate crosshairs in emulators !

If arcade machines didn’t break over and over I would of bought operation wolf I have 5 arcade machines the only one that never broke was the Ms Pac-Man galaga 20th anniversary that was released in 2000 the other arcade machines were released in 1980 -1989 they keep on breaking operation wolf was released in the 1980-1990 I don’t trust any arcade machines that were released before the year 2000 if you want arcade machines buy what’s new or buy arcade 1 ups

Operation Wolf is definitely one that breaks down. I'm currently sitting on about 63 video arcade machines and I would say about 50 of those are 1987 and before. Most of which knock on wood have been working excellent. Proper maintenance goes a long way that's for sure. But yes there are some machines that are extremely problematic and I try to avoid them mostly.
Hmmm 🤔
I beat the game on Taito Legends many times despite the lack of light gun support which totally sucked without it along with the sequel Operation Thunderbolt and Space Gun for the PS2 and Xbox
