Thomas Decided to head to his Branchline with a few miliary soliders. To secure his 2 coaches, Annie and Clarabel, As well to check on his Friends Mavis and Toby. But Operation Blackout may be Harder then he 1st Wondered. Lets hope our Protagonist isn't Noisy this time around .... Edit: I do not care if Mavis and Toby didn't exist in World war 2, Maybe this happened during ww3.

I’m actually writing a World War 2 story where the Germans invade Sodor and the engine help the British Military to take back the island, and your WW2 Thomas really inspired a part of the story. So thank you Trainboy.

I love your WW2 customs just because of how unique and detailed they are! No one I’ve ever seen has done anything like this before. I am curious as to where you got that lamp for Thomas, I’d like to try and get my hands on some in that style.

I love how you made certain changes not based on how a super realistic war locomotive would look like, but rather just based on the fact that it’s a train with a face, which I think is kind of uncommon among a lot of fan-made war engine designs.

Oltho tarps where generally only used on tender engine in ww2 I really like this model i personally like to think that his crew had to put it on him last minute keep up the amazing content

I've recently stumble upon your channel, but I'm quickly falling in love with your work! And seeing James (and the comments criticizing him) made me think: perhaps the Most Splendid Engine could get a fine Propaganda job? Perhaps hauling trucks for paper/rubber/scrap drives? Something where you don't have to drill your models lol.

This might be off topic, but how did you spray the matte clear on Thomas without having the number and lining droop and come off?

Very light sprays man! My biggest tip is spray from a considerable distance in multiple bursts, it’s okay to not cover the whole engine after one go! Just take your time with it! :)

As someone who does 1:64 customs, I've found a great way to make realistic looking tarps is with aluminum foil. If you crumple it up or fold it, the foil takes on the look of a tarp after its seen use. If you want to give the tarp an older look, you can tear the foil or put holes in it. Best part is that you can paint the foil any color you want, although I'd recommend applying primer first as some foils seem to repel the paint. I've actually used these foil tarps in my video Past to Present not only to add details, but also to hide details that actually aren't there on the models. I recommend taking a look if you have time and if you happen to come across this comment.

If you're tired, I would consider trying different themes. Like maybe making custom versions but instead of WW2 theme they could be railway series based. Like a railway series version of Thomas with a flat based.

Maybe you could do a stories or war thing with Victor Tangz

To change up the design styles how about doing a home front locomotive? (I could see Edward and Henry being quite well suited to hospital trains and munitions trains (also if you could get a duck model perhaps do a munitions plant version of him (it would require changing his funnel shape though for the spark arrestor that his class were fitted with for the plants)

Wait... If they put tarp over the cab,then how can the see out the windows without peeking out of the cab?

Just a little engine from sodor doing his part for the war. And thomas is most definitely a support rather than frontline. I freaking love the work done. It just fits. Thomas doing his damnedest to run on time every time. Damaged rails be damned. Our boys need this cargo.

Did you know Gadwill was an a4 class that was blown up in a shed That happend of course in ww2 He got bombed But the locomotive was ruined There was no point in rebuilding it So it was scrapped
