This song is so lovely. I love how they have arranged this song so that Avi's low notes and Mitch's high notes seem to stand out more and the other voices seem to weave in and out to fill up the rest of the harmonics. It amazes me that they are so tight on all of the beginnings and endings of words and verses. So precise !

VoicePlay also covers the same song, so I hope you enjoy the difference in arrangement; both PTX and VoicePlay have arranged the song in a way that shows off the best of each.

This makes one indeed fall in love 😊. Perfection with Avi? Yes ofc, he sounds like an electric organ. I think too that the arrangement carries this, an arrangement that these five people can execute perfectly.

I loved that little roughness at the end--it was as if the singer got a little choked up. I thought that was likely intentional. And yes, their unison kills me every time they do it. Thanks so much for reacting to them.

When Avi was with them, they were perfection. Except for Amazing Grace I have not bother to listen to them again.

Oh love…. You have no idea. I won’t blame you, because I used to feel the same myself… Until I actually took the time to listen. I agree that they were perfect beforehand, but that “perfection” prevented evolution and growth as a group. It’s hard to explain, but I implore you to listen to “Oh Holy Night” released this past Christmas. You will experience what I mean. I’m being completely honest when I tell you that I much prefer them with Matt.

Matt had me at 99.9 % until the first time I saw a video of him doing Hallelujah in concert. He's got me 100% now. I love everything he's done with them.

@@bethphillips9693 I am in the minority was not blown away by Oh Holy Night. Not taking anything away from it just my personal opinion. I also agree with Pam I am not a fan of their new sound. Yes they are still amazing Matt does a great job just not my cup of tea. As there are others that prefer their new sound.
