With all the features on Mikrotik routers have you'd think they would have a simple OPVN upload option. I mean all my cheap routers have it. This is just too much settings to just connect to a vpn.

Please give me some advice, I want a vpn in US, what vpn service provider can I use for it to work. The same setup as this video. Thanks

You can google yourself 'openvpn server usa', there's a lot free and paid server like freeopenvpn.org, ghostpath.com, etc.

I followed exactly the same. Uploaded the certificates and used the same settings, etc. Unfortunately it stucks with "connecting". If I try it via openvpn windows client, it works. What else to check? It matters if my CA cert is in crt format?

Activate logging for openvpn, you might be able to get clue from the log

If I import the crt and pem file the crt works but the pem doesnt I see no KT only T also how do you do this with a ovpn file instead of key file?

Might be the CA and/or the server certificate do not match. T flag set because you make it Trusted. And, I don't think ovpn file can be use on mikrotik, it's only works on clients (Windows or Smartphone).

They're not intended to be shared. You'll need to get it from your OpenVPN server/provider.

Boss. I got just the ovpn file from my VPN provider. What I do with that file.. there is lot of keys there. Can you please help boss

What do you mean? Only client's private key that is needed for setting up ovpn file.

The OpenVPN-Server must use TCP?

As far as I know openvpn allow to use udp

You should upload certificate in order.. Try upload the key first and then the certificate pair.

You should install openvpn client and import the ovpn file.
