Is there a way to deploy/host this on kubernetes instead of docker.

Why do we have loki prometheus and tempo and why we can't have something one? As I understand the purpose of this stuff is just to store the data.

They are not just storing data, but also provide API for quering logs, merics, and traces. Besides those data are stored by differnet format and indexed with diffent mechanism for quering and storing performance.

Blueswen's comment was 👌 already, but I just wanted to double down. Not all data (in this case, logs and metrics) are the same or have the same requirements for storage and aggregation. Another reason for the separation is composability. We could bundle everything together in one big tool that probably does more than what people need, but we find it more efficient to let you choose for yourself what the best tool for each job is. - Nicole

Car analogy: logs would be the cars interaction with a node( a stop) ie, when the car stopped at this node, what did it do? Requested for gas, did it get the gas etc.
