Thanks for the nice review. If anyone is a Sam's Club Member the Openrun is on sale for $89.88 until June 4, 2023. Sam's normal price is $119.88.
I have the the runs and the pro minis. Even though my pros are newer, I reach for the runs first when listening to podcasts and audiobooks. The Pros do have more bass but I have a harder time hearing spoken word content on them versus the runs.

Have you tried going into the app and switching from standard to vocal? That might improve your sound on podcasts.
hi, it seems that with my OpenRun Pro Mini, the "digital assistant" function triggers on my iPhone, but the mic on the OpenRun Pro Mini doesn't work with Siri.. it only works with the mic on my iPhone..
Own the OpenMove and even though the sound is not the best, I treat it as background music. I paid £65 for my headphone. The button controls are great. I like the fact that I can charge the Moves anywhere and don't need to worry about USB-C cables. I would hate to lose or damage the propriety cable for Run or Pro. Good detailed review.

Hi Jessie, my pleasure
This technology is so cool. I have ear issues because I'm prone to getting ear infections, and a lot of times my ears hurt during a run because I have to shove my earbuds into my ears so hard to get them to stay in, even with the kind that clip around your ears. I also don't like the idea of getting sweaty and hot and having my ears basically acting as a closed off incubator for bacteria. I'm going to the store tomorrow to see if they have any for people to try before buying, because the only thing keeping me from taking the plunge is not knowing how bad the audio bleeding is and not knowing the audio quality. I think this tech has the potential to really help some peeps with medical issues, so that's great. I have a deaf friend with a brain implant that connects to an earpiece that kind of lets him hear, and this seems like a baby version of that, without the need for brain surgery lol.

I have used the open run for a year now… very comfortable and have been very happy with it… unfortunately… the charging port started to corrode and rust… maybe because of my sweat… now the port is deformed and can no longer charge. Lesson learned… now i bought the open move to try out… hoping to avoid what happened to the charging port.

So can you review them please ? I plan to buy the openMove to run
The reason that people complain of that the sound is bad is probaly because of that there's sound coming into your ears through the more "normal" way. And if you are around roadnoise and you can't get the quality of the sound then buy some earplugs. The earplugs only function is to block sounds from the "normal" way sound comes from. The amount dB they block and how detailed that you want depends on what type of earplugs you buy.

Thank you for the exhaustive video. Which model would you suggest for just audio books listening, considering that sometimes the volume of the recording is quite low. Thank you.
Thanks for the nice review. Among these three, I think Openrun Pro is the best, and of course, its price is also the highest. The fact is, I have an Openrun Pro that works very well. However, the one I used the most this year is Wissonly Hi Runner because Openrun Pro has too few usage scenarios, and Hi Runner can be used in many scenarios, such as swimming, surfing, running, hiking, and so on.

This is very interesting. It's my first time hearing about bone conduction headphones. This sounds really appealing to me because I'm always listening to music and have to respond to people. I'm definitely going to research this more because I want a middle ground between earphones and headphones and this seems to be the case. My top pick so far would be the Pros, mainly sounds quality, for battery life & it can be used at lower volume. I listen to a lot of bass heavy music and use earphones and headphones for long periods of time. Also the band going around the back seems great because it wouldn't mess up my afro. Just one question: are you able to listen to music leaning your head against a wall?
@DionMedia
Жыл бұрын
Yes
@BN99239
Жыл бұрын
If you usually listen to bass heavy music, you will probably not like these. Even though the pro does have some bass to it, it's no where near a cheap pair of headphones. These are great for watching youtube, listening to podcasts, just anything where you prefer to hear the vocals and mids more. They're also great for people who are outside a lot, whether it's for exercising or working because they can be aware of their surroundings. I would also say that they are good for office work as well, if you tend to talk to the people around you while working. They're really not that ideal for enjoying music or watching movies because they really do lack bass.
Helpful comparison. Thanks.

Shokz are great! I’ve been wearing open run daily for audiobooks and quite often I forget that they are on until I get a phone call and realize I don’t need to hold my phone up to my ear. Just bought the pro as the + button is wearing out but it’s lasted me over 3 years. I rate the open run: 9 out of 10, the only downside is you can’t hear the audio around white noise (fans, refrigerators, compressors, air conditioners, etc.) I hope the open run pro will fix that 😅

I have the pro. Best part is if there wasn’t music coming out of them you would not know you were wearing them. Great battery life as well. My beats wireless sound better however they are not sweat proof and bulkier and of course can not hear your surroundings as well. These are great. The list price is a lot however they come with a hard case and they seem incredibly durable. I hope they outlive the other headphones I have had.
Thanks a lot for the review, whether the run pro type can be used for ear in monitoring for Drummer at stage? Thanks
@NBrooksCullen
10 ай бұрын
I'm a drummer. I use these everyday all day long. However, as a performer, these let all the stage sound in and don't work at all for in ear monitoring. Plus, using bluetooth as in ears can have latency issues in live monitoring. I use AZ10 inears, and they are amazing.
Greeting from India Dion sir, actually I was unaware of bone conduction technology. And I didn’t even hear about this product. Well, the product seems suitable for me as I can be present in surrounding environments as I am able to listen surrounding. Majorly I use headphones with KZread and most of my videos are of knowledge purpose. So, it’s really disruptive to remove headphones when someone tries to talk with me and I have to pause the video. With this product, it seems so user friendly. Keep comparing and reviewing all tech products. I like getting knowledge from you 12:05

first time hearing about bone conduction, so cool!!!
The moves can also be paired with 2 devices, even without the app.
It's absurd and not confidence inspiring that the Pro model is dramatically LESS water/dirt resistant than the cheaper model! Is it an older model? What's the point of the annoying proprietary charge connection if not a watertight seal?!
Any battery wears out over the years, how many years have all these headphones been lost and what to do when the battery stops holding? is it possible to replace it or just buy new headphones?

i do feel that these are slightly overpriced in general, but they do sound good so long as you keep the volume below about 85-90% which you should be if youre using them for their advertised purpose; if you try to crank it they sound like a$$. i got the openrun pro and overall im happy with them, this is not my 1st bone induction headset and my last one (from a different company) had the same volume issue so its probably just a quirk of the technology. i do like the way the controls are layed out on them, and they are COMFORTABLE, i have often forgotten i was wearing them.

At Storybook Ballet, your child’s spirit comes alive through music and dance, while the magic of children’s stories inspires their imagination. Adorned in handmade costumes, your dancer transforms into the lead character of a storybook and dramatizes the tale through enchanting choreography.
One thing these youtubers will never tell you is that these things glitch randomly and die eventually. I’ve gone through 2 warranties and 2 new openruns, but they’re all the same.
