It's finally Time. Opening Lex's laundromat for the 2017 washing season. Last fall I winterized both washers with RV anti-freeze and you need to rinse that out before you can start washing clothes. You do this by running the washers on a full cycle on max water level. This goes the same for any washer. Now it's a Real laundromat as I even have a dryer out in the shed now. Granted the only way I can run it is off of the generator but that makes it more fun. The Drain Pipe overflowed when the Inglis started draining due to a plant blocking the discharge opening. Moved the leaves out of the way and re-positioned the pipe a bit and that solved that issue. Other than that The opening went flawlessly.

I know your washers drain outside on some plants, I take it RV antifreeze doesn't harm them?

I used to own a Kenmore 80 Series, But I sold it away and got a Speed Queen, washes like my old Kenmore Edit: I saw an 80 Series Kenmore In Great Condition But Broken Knobs at The dump the other day ago for $16 (CAD)

The WASHER on the left is a Kenmore hey by the way you should get a Kenmore series 100 HE those are the best

BrooklynBaller101 thats from the anti freeze. Thats why you run the machines through a full cycle to flush the anti freeze out from winterizing.

Why don't you just use a plastic bag or small bucket and catch the first couple seconds of water and avoid all that nonsense?!
I'm so glad those machines aren't around anymore. They might have cleaned well, but they ripped your clothes to shreds and were so noisy.

PCBoy Broccolibeefed will always diss the DD washers.....I mean they only sold MILLIONS of them and I have never heard of a class action lawsuits brought against WHIRLPOOL for their supposedly clothes destroying washers. I owned two of them....that makes me enough of an authority to comment.
