Opening the Kato Series 300 Shinkansen

Today we have an unboxing of the Kato Precision Railroad Models' Series 300 Shinkansen. The 2022 release of the model made the full 16 carriage consist available in one pack. The 300 Series entered service in 1992 and was retired in 2012. They first operated the Nozomi services, which this model depicts. When the N700 series Shinkansens entered service they operated the Kodama and Hikari services, although in their 16-carriage configuration.
In this video we take a close look at six of the carriages, then give the full set a run.
A review will be made in future, once enough testing has been completed.
