I remember people not liking Bidoof when Diamond and Pearl first came out. The most common complaint I heard was that it "looked dumb," with its only redeeming quality being it being able to use almost every HM. I'm glad people have come to see how adorable Bidoof can be

16:08 To answer your questions as a Pokemon fan, as far as I can remember, Bidoof has been a very popular in the community from being an HM Slave (Something in the older Pokemon games where trainer dedicated one Pokemon to getting over terrain) to BIDOOF GOD (I don't know about this one, chief). Bidoof really stood out from the "Rodent/ Route 1 Pokemon" with this aloof design and even more so when they evolve. Game Freak even dedicated an entire day (April Fools, I believe) to Bidoof. I think once Pokemon took off with Pokemon Go, a lot of Pokemon got more recognition, even Bidoof. They do hold a place in my heart since Pokemon Diamond for being my first-ish Pokemon I came across. (And... also, to me, for not really knowing the game when I was 7 and had one particular Bidoof to be the father of a couple dozen Piplups.... oops :p ) Yes, the answer is yes

Just so everyone knows, V star universe and crown zenith are not the same. Yes they have many of the same ultra rare cards but crown zenith is a catch up set, basically giving us everything we still don't have from the japanese sets of the sword and shield era. V star universe on the other hand is a reprint set, which reprints some of the best cards from the sword and shield era for new players to easily get there hands on

This is honestly the BEST SET of all time! I love it so much, and to see it end with THIS banger is honestly just awesome.

It really is and the pull rates favor the average collector, which is nice !! I have been looking for gold since Nov '23 (with no luck) and then pulled three in the last week, pretty INSANE !

I'm glad you got your goal card! It's nice to see not everyone is after the most valuable cards. I'm the same way when I want a favorite Pokémon of mine.

Hi Foafy, long story short. We live in New Jersey. My 10 year old son Isaiah got Japanese pokemon cards from the 90's. The holy grail of cards. They were given to him by my Godson who collected them. I think a segment with you and my son would go great. I would say you can't see the collection until on camera so it is as you are opening a new deck and capture the excitement. It will be a video of all videos. It might even be 3 segments. Let me know. I just listen to you when he is around me... and you seem nice. I like you more than others that is why I am asking you!

I REALLY enjoy the card videos being all over the place and chaotic. I prefer them that way. Also, I've opened 3 ETBS of this set looking exclusively for the uncommon girafarig. Found 1. You pulled so many, and a reverse! I know it makes more sense to buy specifically just that card, considering its so cheap... but now im wanting another ETB...

Yes! Open more. I enjoy watching these just to see your enjoyment. Skrelp (poison/water) and Dragalge (poison/dragon - pronounced Drag-algae) are gen 6 Kalos pokemon.

I just started getting into pokemon so crown zenith which is the end of sword n shield was my intro into pokemon and its the set that made me want to record my openings and post them on yt

I didn't like most of the sword & shield sets but I think crown zenith is probably one of the best sets of the last 3 generations

I’m a big fan of chilling reign and evolving skies, but vstar universe is amazing along with crown zenith, I just really like the Japanese silver borders.

Like your experience, I collected yu-gi-oh cards as I was growing up, and got into collecting pokemon cards in the Sword and Shield sets.

It hurts to know how much more videos we can get if you had more time on your hands. If you want an editor to focus on editing these for you I'd love to give it a shot. These seem like simple edited videos I could probably knock out whatever backlog of these you have while you work on your main channel.

As somebody that got into Pokemon cards towards the end of the Sun and Moon era the sword and shield era was when I really got into collecting

Pokemon sword and shield is definitely my favourite era of Pokémon CARDS (I have been into it since XY), so I have big expectations for scarlet and violet, my favourite English sets have to be evolving skies or crown zenith

I love the Eevee heroes boxes that were a part of evolving skys. I got a couple of the Japanese ones. Could never find the full art Umbreon. Really any sets that have any Eevees are my favorite.

I also recently got back into pokemon collecting and the tcg with the sword and shield era. My favorite set has been astral radience because it was my first swd/shld etb i got and it had a major impact on the tcg, bringing more vstars that dominated (palkia) and the regis. Although i have only played the tcg in this era, i find the cards fun to play with and the art to be really cool! although alot of people find this to be one of the worst eras for the tcg due to the absolute dominance of a few cards and i will admit id does get boring seeing the same few cards and decks winning over and over again. I do hope scarlet and violet switch things up and w are already seeing some of this happening with japans tcg scene as they already have the cards.

I bought two etbs and I pulled giratina, mewtwo vstar , suicune, radiant Charizard and a bunch of other crazy cards, literal god boxes 😅

I only got into the card game halfway through Sword and Shield but I've really enjoyed it. My favorite set was probably Evolving Skies, as I'm a big Eeveelution fan. Lost Origins was also a cool set. Really excited for the Scarlet and Violet era

Hi! I’m new to the collecting scene and have bought A LOT of the etbs recently and just had a question: what do you all do with the markers/dice and whatnot? I’ve had use for the sleeves and put my cards in them and then into a top loader, but other than that the rest I end up trying to recycle or trash. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I was so excited to get the first ETB in a while and got Crown Zenith, 4th pack and I got the Secret Rare Pikachu. I was shaking and screaming and the best part was i had the homies with me so they were also screaming

Sword and Shield went out with a bang! Best set to go out on imo. Idk how I feel with the next gen. Silver borders is going to take some getting used to. The designs of 90% of the new pokemon were trash too. I imagine they are going to keep the new pokemon to a minimum in the Scarlet and Violet sets.

Bro idk how people get these crazy pulls, ive seen so many etb openings and they get insane pull but when i get a etb and open it, all i got was 1 Gallerian gallery 3 holo’s and 2 V’s 💀💀

tbf, that giratina IS origin forme lol. They just don't mention it in the card because that forme has existed since gen 4.
