About 4 years ago I was nostalgic about a junior high trip that I took to TRF in 93 or so. I looked up videos on YT and found your channel. I have been a subscriber and watcher of your channel ever since. You have, BY FAR the best TRF content on YT and I want to thank you for that, Janaa! I look forward to your videos every year for TRF stuff, and I hope there is more to come this year. P.S. I love the food review vids so hopefully you'll do another one of those (please)? 😃

I've always wanted to go to the Texas Ren Faire. It seems to be more expansive and have alot if new things to do that Georgia lacks. That and the camping is the biggest thing for me because to get to the Georgia one is quite far so to stay there instead of worrying about parking is a plus to me.

Okay so with VIP, they created an extra event inside the VIP area . The cast was brought in and two musicians got a private show. The cast interacted with VIP’s during a wine tasting , hosted by fancy . And we tried 4 truffle infused cheeses ( including Gouda ).

@@SuttonStops better than each of the years before . There seemed to be less concierge., but the cast took up the slack and helped serve during the interaction. So we got to sit and talk quite awhile before pub sing . Fancy lost a lot of weight .

I'm gonna miss the old cobblestone courtyard at the gate. It contributed to the feel of Yon Olde Tyme, for me. Shame! Shame! But then I never wore anything like heels or platforms, and I was never anywhere near drunk at closing time, either. I wear me boots tight around the ankles so I can take on any obstacle Faire has to throw at me. Except the Drench-A-Wench insulting maidens...

Some people claim that giving a Renaissance Faire push swings and rides (even one's that are man-powered) makes it more like a theme park. But the way I see it, such attractions MAY have existed in the time of the Renaissance. Furthermore, people go to the faire for three things; the atmosphere, entertainment and food

@@SuttonStops Other reasons people call Ren Faires a different form of theme parks is the amount of soft drinks being sold, t-shirts on display and faire performers walking about the grounds and talking to patrons. Clearly, the naysayers don't know what being a blackfryer is
