This is the kind of eBay seller that makes me nostalgic for when things werent just about scalping. This seller creates an experience & clearly puts care into his packaging and contents. I respect this very much.

And....the kind words like these and personal messages from hundreds of buyers is the reason I still build the boxes and still try to expand/ improve them. This was just supposed to get me through quarantine. I never got to open packs or enjoy the Hobby with my dad, but I've been fortunate enough to build boxes for Dads and Grandads that would be opening their first box with Sons, Daughters and even granddaughters! Might sound sappy, but man, I think it's more important than we even realize. A dad doing something non-digital with their kids?! Lol...just saying. Wait until you open the other box Rob.....it's gonna be sweet! (And won't take as long lol)

@@SR-cz5sp well said scott. I got the baseball lovee from my dad. My family has been a 17game plan holder for the Phillies since 1974 and my grandparents lived in Florida so we would spend 2 week over Easter going to 10-12 spring training game every year. They were in Bradenton so I grew up watching that Bonds, Bonilla and van slyke outfield and every year JIm Leyland would bring us into the clubhouse. Amazing how many players smoked back then in the clubhouse .

@@georgeschneider333I'd love to spend a week or so at spring training...take a bunch of balls to hopefully get some signatures on! If that's still possible...maybe the interaction has diminished.
Underrated!
Thank you very much for opening these on your channel! I just want you guys to know that these are not juiced up for show, the boxes you might potentially buy will be the same quality or better. I don't consider my job complete until you open your box and tell me youre satisfied, so i stay in communication with you until then. Now....the other box i sent you Rob... you're gonna have to touch some new stuff...but the old stuff, the non super modern rookies and the non card items should make up for it!!!! I havent watched this video yet, but based on the comments, it must have been fun! Thanks again! Scott
You can almost see his favorite players. Alot of winfield, brett, and few others. Thank you for keeping the world going brother. Tough decision, more cards and no world or just no world. Good call.
Wow Scott!!! Thanks for the cards!!!

They all should've kept shirts on😂 I wonder how much hell they likely caught from teammates when they saw those cards? I bet that was special.
Nice content Rob - you have a really underrated channel - love seeing those Blue Jay pulls - I live vicariously thru you haha

@@georgeschneider333 he ruined my adulthood as neither the Leafs or Blue Jays will ever bring me the happiness I experienced as a 12 yr old haha #cursed hell we didnt even make the playoffs again for 23 yrs & the Leafs havent won a 2nd round playoff game since my early 20’s 😉
Tbh this deserved a two part video… way too much time was put into putting this together to rush it like this.
Look at John kruk avg in the farm system… geez! He was killing it

Thank you my friend. I enjoy building these. I wish I could've watched every box I've built and sold being opened by the recipient. I like money, but I'm always waiting to hear "It was awesome!" That's the real payoff.

@@georgeschneider333I pulled an Andre Dawson way back then, but that's it. I've opened several boxes since but no luck. Those were one of the first inklings that we would soon be drawn to packs trying to hunt for something other than the players we loved.
John kruk mr.300 rookie card. Get out of here!! That’s bad ass!

Love that Kruker ended with. .300 average on the dot.
For whatever reason they made the cards look exactly the same that weren't signed as those that were. I guess the numbering was lower on the signed ones. It makes the unsigned ones look like they are missing something. I've never held a signed one, but ive seen one.

Absolutely...that's the first thing I noticed way back then...that had to be a printing efficiency decision. They just appear incomplete immediately.
