Not to get into no racial thing … in my area there’s been a lot of mainlander Chinese going to shows and shops trying to sell re sealed boxes … 2 weeks ago they sold a case of evolving skies .. boxes were resealed and looked brand new .. I would be wary of anyone you don’t know trying to sell you sealed product

Right when I heard that plastic wrap. I knew 100% it was resleased. And dude saying he got a refund immediately right off the rip with no explanation from the other seller. Dude, hella sketch. I'm glad you didn't get scammed, man.

Yeah, it wasn't the right type of plastic. Also, as far as refunds, he did message the guy while we were there, I just didn't include that in the video since it wouldn't really be relevant to my vendor POV. I can't say as to whether or not the refund actually happened or not

I watch a lot of these vendor POV pokemon card selling vids. Even though you're just recently uploading, these are the most entertaining for me to watch so far. You're a really chill and professional vendor. Looking forward to watching more man

@@nanophree A lot of times the warning signs are probably while youre buying the item and you can see if the seller is sketch or not. Nowadays its even harder since its one clueless person selling to another clueless person and its like a chain of who gets left with the fake box lol. I would probably never recommend buying sealed if you have zero clue as. to what a "proper" seal is on a box.

I'm gonna be honest, that thing looked resealed the second it got pulled from the bubble wrap, look way too much of a modern heavy reseal. Then when I heard that wrap when you opened it, it all but confirmed it Not to mention the owner himself being scared to open it. He knew it was a jigged box from the get go.

To be fair, anyone opening a $4.5k box would be pretty nervous about doing so, especially since the boxes have a history of being resealed often and resold.

Poncho box fiasco aside, I loved how the first bulbashirt guy came back at the end of the video to seal the poncho slabs deal. Keep up the vids sir!

Hey man I think you should send a picture of that guy to all vendors. That’s was a scammer clear as day!! Who reacts so chilled after finding out their 4k+ box is fucked and who gets a refund without any hassle within 15 minutes (I guess). He also didn’t want to show the other box to keep the wrap as he’ll try to scam another vendor with it during the show. Name and shame him!!!!

I actually don't think he was lying about now knowing. He's been in the community in our area and I think he just caught a tough break on the poncho box

I suspect that the guy who was trying to scam you will do it again. He knew damn well that poncho was resealed and the person he got a refund from is likely a co-conspirator. Good job handling it though. But I'd be weary of that person again if you see them again.

That was such a smart play to only offer trade for the poncho box and open it in front of them. I'm not very familiar with them but I'm assuming it was only possible because box was worth more opened with the contents. I have no clue how you all prevent getting scammed if the product is worth more sealed so more power to ya. Great vid 😊

The two poncho promos are where 90% of the box's value comes from, that's why I told him I'd need to open it right then and there in case something went wrong. It's scary out there nowadays
