This channel is probably my favorite. Every other channel I’ve been on has been about pulling ‘chase’ cards and how much they’re worth. She actually enjoys the the cards and game in general and not just the chase cards

So lucky! Gratz Bou. I have literally opened 18 of these boxes and many times only get one baby shiny. Like you, tons of fully shiny toxtricitiy cards though haha. Love that weezing!

Almost all of my baby shinies have had that weird silvery bleed on them : /

My baby shinies have the same issue and I'm guessing it's the machine cutting the edges roughly? I have some base set shinies from when I was a kid with the exact same silvering on the edges where the ink has rubbed off. The baby shinies are a similar style to that era's shinies where it's a reflective background with the printed art on top and they seem easier to damage, though it's a little disappointing to see it on cards without 20 years of wear to blame.

Yeah, nearly all my shining fates hits have that "silvering" on the side. It's sad, but I don't feel like hunting for SF products if I know that most of my hits will have that issue.

I believe that silvering on the sides is from the blade not being properly wiped when cutting a new sheet of cards, leaving the “bleed” from other full arts/holos

Haha I've had them for a while now! Our orange one (Magi) is new but we've had our first 2 for over a year + our third for like half a year!

honestly ive been picking up the cards with silvering on them at my local card store cuz theyre selling them way cheaper and i can use all the help i can get completing a master set haha

Most of my baby shinies have that unfortunate silvering 🤷‍♀️ but it’s ok since they look just fine in a binder

No joke, I recently got 2 shining fates boxes and pulled 2 amazing rare reshiram myself.

A good percentage of the baby shiny cards I've pulled has that same silvering issue. It's unfortunately very common.

I just started playing and I've only been able to find like 8 shining fates packs. I did score your baby shiny goal card but it has terrible holo bleed on the left side too. :/

foil bleed from poor quality control is always a bummer, I assume it happens because of the need for faster production
