Actually liked the virtual depiction of those post-war ACF R12/R14 cars. love the clerestory with the 'honeycomb" vents in them. Ride these cars,a lot on the IRT "7" Flushing Local Line. Loved them!! They were scaled down R10s, that were procured for the IND.

You'd think after all these years the sounds would be more high quality

They are all retired, though there is still one that runs out of the Museum fleet. "The Train of Many Colors" (TOMC) which is the train modeled in this video.

R33WF car 9306 (1963)...as well as R17 car 6609(1953)....R15 car 6239(1950) and R12 car 5760(1948) are semi permanent exhibits in the Transit Museum
