Ikr? I was really blown away when Dall.E-2 was announced and even more fascinated from even the bad results. Now, watching all the good text-to-image quality we can get a couple of years in the future, one can imagine what the quality of Sora could be in the near future.

Plot twist: is is not a video generation, it is a world simulation, meaning these could just as easily be playable video games

​@@7satsuI cant give an exact timeframe but I can almost guarantee that if we don't go extinct and this technology keeps advancing, give it a thousand years and we'll either be overthrown by it or literally every form of entertainment possible will be able to be created within a few minutes at the push of a button.

AMAZING!!! I can see movie writers not losing their jobs. Write the script, give it to SORA, and BAM!! The movie is made. I do see distortions in walking movements in several videos. 16:50 is one of them. Additionally, the proportions of the legs to the body appear slightly off.

Even they will loose their jobs 😀Text stories are the easiest to do, then parse to Sora, maybe Sora V2 or V3, HOLLYWOOD MOVIE DONE. Some voiceover from some emotional AI, or Sora itself in a latter version. The future is BRIGHT, and jobless... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Robots are coming too, most repetitive jobs are done, later blue collar jobs and not to mention all the assembly people for smartphones, etc... The future is VERY jobless, the question will be... what will they do with all the people ? And what will the people do that have only consumption.. decadence ??? what about actors and editors? ediors specifically? ive been playing with AI for 3 years now, and i thought runway was the thing to beat, although its hard to use, now this, its on a different level, i wish i had access so i could see exactly the process, but it seems to be way different from runway.

@@JohnW704 you will be able to generate any type of actor, editing is not that much work, but at some point tttt he AI will feel every nuance of timing, theme, etc. AI WILL REPLACE HUMANITY! 🤣 (Actually it's sad) but if it's benevolent, it could be the savior of us in nearly everything. We will see, either we survive it or we will die. We reached the point of no return. That's for sure!

Feet motion, walk cycles and foot sliding are a definitive problem in Sora. The more clips I see the more I can spot the weirdness. Could negative prompts fix this?

Almost every character shown walking from a front view has a skip in their step. It's a very weird glitch in the walk cycle.

YES. I don't know how effective the C2PA watermarks will be but when something like Sora 2.0 comes out I don't know if it will be enough. We need certainty about the discernibility of content generated by artificial intelligence, especially when talking about advanced AI video+audio content.

Open AI *might* already have AGI. As Sam Altman discussed, AGI could come out any year now, and anyone who owns AGI could then use it to get to ASI (Artificial Super Intelligence) as soon as the following year. In my opinion, anything as powerful as ASI will be unethical independently by who owns and uses it. We need to slow down and reconsider some aspects of AI, *RIGHT NOW!*

​@@mattw4176 🤔 Why not convince someone that could organise a big boycott operation by a petition? Then we could stop using the tools until something changes. As of myself, I already use only free AIs like Copilot and Perplexity. At the moment I don't have the necessity of paying a subscription. If I had a company or a big idea to improve society I would, but otherwise I don't need to fill even more up this industry pockets.
