this game changes people. like, after hundreds of hours of playing, i find myself looking at the trees around my city more often, or just noticing small visual and auditory details here and there. how does this game even do that?!

Tbh creating a game as large as Breath of the Wild, filling it with new content that they now have time to develop rather than developing a game engine in. Like new rewards, other than shrines sir quests and then adding in fully featured dungeons, that build off the free form puzzle solving ideas of breath of the Wild and that would be a pretty darn good follow up

Hope you won buddy, I would've suggested you stock up your entire inventory with hearty foods, not to mention a couple of their energizing counterparts. sell or use all the other food, including heat and cold, as you likely have equipment to survive both already. Speaking of equipment, you should get Ancient Armor, arrows, and weapons from Robbie- don't forget to stock up on gears, cores, screws, and springs! You'll need to them to upgrade your new-found armor at the Great Fairy! As a hint, one fairy is in the bottom left corner of the map, and another is in Akkala, near a hill North of Zora's Domain. Upgrade your equipment to three stars at the least- it'll make your life a LOT easier! Keep in mind as well that it has the same standard defense as Soldier Armor, if I'm correct, despite it's comparably easier-to-collect materials. Just do a ton of shrines, and redo the combat ones to farm weapons and materials. There's a labyrinth in the Valley between the Gerudos mountains and the area below the Hebra Mountains, go there, and then proceed to defeat all the guardians inside; Ancient Axes and swords will come in handy here!

Breath of the Wild is, without a doubt, my favorite game. I've been playing for hundreds of hours, since its release... Don't defeat Ganon, though. It's not worth it, at least until they release the sequel. Play the game, savor every second of the journey. Buy a house. Burn down a forest and watch it regrow, then burn it down again out of spite. Run out of inventory space and go on a wild egg-hunt for some more. Collect all the armor sets and get mad they don't give you enough inventory space. Dye your clothes. Cook a fairy. Learn to Bullet-Time Bounce off a Bokoblin's head. Abuse the hell out of the physics engine. Complete all the shrines, find all the collectables, surf through the desert on the back of a seal... And then start your journey again, and take a new path. And make sure you fall in love with Sidon while you're at it.

This was truly moving. The phases in this song really represent what it feels like playing breath of the wild. In the beginning, we have a soft light theme, using the hateno and rito village songs as bases and building small natural effects on top. This is the start of the game, as link wakes up and explores the beautiful world of Hyrule. About halfway through, the song switches to a faster theme, using the horse riding music and that perfect guardian laser beam effect in the transition, to represent link being thrown into conflict, galloping across the fields of Hyrule on his horse pursued by guardians. Then, we return to the soft theme of the beginning, when link returns to his home and has freed the land from evil. Throughout the song, random sprinkles and accents of color and beauty really make you relive your journey through Hyrule.
