    I really enjoy watching your work. You are so skilled at every step, from the design phase, materials selection, turning and finishing, and how you handle unexpected problems. And most importantly, you create so many beautiful things! I possess none of these skills, so I’m not in any position to judge, but comparing to other videos I watch, you are definitely master class. It is generous to share your skills and knowledge so other people can learn from you.

    Methodical build, and it turned out gorgeous! Please maybe spend more time showing off your creation at the end, it's what we all wait for and want to enjoy. Peace! That's a beauty.

    @@mayukowoodturning7644 Hi mate it's not too long at all. Almost all the (highly viewed) make videos I watch are 15-25 min. Spending 60-120 seconds to admire your creation at the end is nothing. Peace.

    Beautiful work! Q: At the 1:23 minute mark, the upper left corner of the screen shows a note pad with a segment chart with the numbers 5.3, 6, 6.7, 7, 7.7, 8, and 8.3. To what are those numbers referring? Diameter in inches? Where can one find a chart showing what segment length is necessary to achieve a certain diameter assuming 8 segments, 12 segments, 16, etc.? Thanks.

  • @mayukowoodturning7644

    @mayukowoodturning7644

    Жыл бұрын

    these numbers are the length of each segment (in cm) and to determine how long each segment is, we only measure the diameter that we will use then divide by 8 or 16

    I enjoy your videos. Do you put any finish on the inside of the spaces? Also to you have much glue squeeze out in the spaces? Thanks

  • @mayukowoodturning7644

    @mayukowoodturning7644

    2 жыл бұрын

    No, I didn't touch the space because manglid wood can absorb liquid so that not too much glue comes out and I don't press it so that not too much glue comes out

    Looks great but doesn't pass the honesty test. You spread glue over pieces that were part of the open spaces. That should show in the finished product.
