My theory was that cops are bullys, and are unlikely to mess with 100 armed people, but in my experience they have no problem singling people out one at a time when there's more of them. I think that if we had picked a less known person and sent them in discretely recording rather than openly recording that a citation would have been given. I have no doubt that their failure to enforce this on me was NOT because of their conscience, but because we made it too clear that everything that happened here today would be published.

@@jruizsr yes, the difference being those are state charges under State jurisdiction. This would be Federal charges as it deals with constitutional violation. Anything the state could maybe charge would have to go to a special grand jury, etc., and the Governor would likely be blocking that. I’m honestly not sure if an inappropriate declaration of a “State of Emergency” is covered under State or Federal laws, but the 2nd Amendment violation is definitely Federal.

Absolutely correct. Whether it's enforced or not it raises the bar of tyranny that we allow. She needs to be charged and prosecuted. In her own words: " to send a message". 🤔

In my eyes the only acceptable answer is; "I will arrest the one who is breaking the law." That would be the governor..

This was great, civil disobedience against tyranny is what the founders expected of us!

Why is it so hard to stand behind their oath? All they had to do is say no, we're not enforcing the unconstitutional order and then stand behind their word. They would be on the right side of the law for a change.

There will be in a couple weeks, but usually they stand down when they are outnumbered, but bully when they outnumber you. That's why I went with only 2 people, so the cops would outnumber us.

I believe those State Police Officers will Absolutely write citations once they are done with their 'education period'. And that young officer is clearly happy to follow orders and take food off the table of anyone.

There is a crime it's the governor.

They behaved, which is great.. But they undoubtedly recognized James instantly. He's very famous among the police at this point. I'm willing to bet, tons of cops are subbed to him, just to keep an eye on where he is and what he's doing. If any of us were to do what he did, with or without a camera, chances are it would play out much differently. But they know the chaos James can bring down on them. I bet they fear an encounter with James. When he comes around, they probably feel the way we do when a cop rolls up on us.

This is one of the issues of why I didn’t become a cop because I want to have stable employment and not compromise my values. I would be open to becoming the elected sheriff because I can say hell no and and if anyone does enforce this I will have them arrested and recommend to the DA they be prosecuted. If the DA doesn’t prosecute that’s on the DA.

It would be interesting if the governor was standing there. What would their reaction be?

Then Newberg Or. police called up Utah and told them I’m a danger to myself and others. For open carrying a gun. They let me keep my guns though. 😂 Some threat. Pay all this money for a permission slip to have them take it away less than a year later.

I feel you there. I lost more than 3/4 of my income in the shut downs and still haven't recovered. I think what they've done to us over the last few years has only strengthened the resolve of more people to fight though. You may not have the money to travel here to fight, but I'll bet if something pops off in your own neck of the woods you'll be right there.
