if she did get one shot off the force of the recoil would in my opinion keep her from being confrontation effective. she looked to be about 30 percent taller then her firearm and the fact that she was within ten feet of the suspect who was unarmed at that time with a rifle style weapon shows her poor training . she appeared to be another one that believes bigger is better in all circumstances a handgun is for in close proximity . The worst of all this is the fact that all police in the USA are trained to beleave that everything they ask or tell someone should be obeyed and they do not know how to deal with it when they are not . The unlawful detainment of this guy from his car is why he was arrested not because he was carrying his gun . This guy now gets to pay bail , court cost , fines and or restitution for being arrested and if he so chooses legal cost of a lawyer to fight or mitigate the above cost this is why police in the USA get away with not knowing the law is also on the civies side. It is not that they do not care it is that a lot of them are not properly informed or like the girl Hernandez a little to ready to prove themselves or settle somthing that doesn't need to be exasperated.

@@fakename6822 If you pour milk in first, you know exactly how much milk you're putting in, and you know exactly how much cereal you're putting in. You'll also have a better estimate of how much you're drinking at the end. Then there's other problems like what if your milk is bad but you don't realize it after pouring it after your cereal? You're gunna take a bite and realize it's bad, then you wasted a bowl of cereal and you're also not gunna want to eat. Reason I bring that up is because it happened to a friend. ;) If you pour milk in last, you could put too much cereal in so when you pour your milk, it'll get too high which can make it harder to eat at first, and you're just guessing how much milk is in there because you can't see it..

John Chandler An AR is very typical for self defense... many states do not allow a side arm and only allow long rifles.. an AR is probably one of the smaller long rifles one can carry... and as to its type, it is one of the most carried rifles in the country by both law enforcement and citizens...

This. Depending on where you live theres a time and a place for open carry. Are you in the woods? Go for it, maybe you are hunting, maybe you just want something to protect you should an angry bear happen upon you. Are you at the local mall or shopping center? Maybe it's time to get your concealed carry. Just because the law says you can does not mean you always should. You may have absolutely no intention of causing harm but unfortunately no one knows that for certain except for you.

A person who wants to kill as many people as he can is able to hide his pistol and open fire once he is in position. If you really do carry and train then you know how much easier it is to operate a rifle compared to a pistol. A citizen with a rifle will likely be able to take down the assailant with one single accurate shot. Furthermore, if you’re a criminal and want to hurt as many people as possible, you wouldn’t let everyone know you have a gun. You would conceal it until you were in position. The answer is simple: we need to encourage and train regular law abiding citizens to carry weapons to the point that criminals are so outnumbered and outgunned that they wouldn’t dare try shit.
