Hi. I am hearing, but OC is very important to me. You know OC - open caption. Why? When I go to the movie theater, I sit, watch, feel comfortable, and eat popcorn. Not Guessing - I sit comfortably and watch. My Deaf and hard of hearing friends do not have the same experience. They need to find a manager and ask for equipment to watch. Sometimes, the theater doesn’t have it. Sometimes, it’s broken or difficult to see/use. Our experiences are not the same. Recently, the state of Maryland passed a law requiring theaters with more than four screens to have one with OC. I live in VA. We don’t have that. I want the experience to be equal. The solution is OC. I hope VA is next.
