IMPORTANT NOTE: the context of this song and the context of the scene are kinda different things lol. the general vibes fit though so that's why I used it as a backdrop for my OC nonsense. it's not canon to the plot of their story, just a little au I wanted to play with for funsies! the context of the scene: Keira (the one in the ruana) is looking for Cailín (the singer) in a magical memory dreamspace, but instead of finding her, she finds a very old memory version of her. in this current moment of the story they have had a falling out, so when the memory of Cailín acts like they're besties Keira has trouble dealing with her feelies about it since they presently do not like each other and have not even smiled at each other since they stopped being friends
fun fact, I did the entire thumb pass of this in three days; I started shortly after 6pm on a Friday and finished around 4:30pm on Sunday. thank you audhd hyperfocus. it would then take me much longer to do revisions and clean it all up lol
life has been so like...heavy lately idk how else to put it lol not even necessarily bad it's just been so intensely good and also so intensely stressful BUT despite everything (or actually it's more like BECAUSE of everything) I finally managed to board something that I can use in my portfolio that isn't sealed behind an NDA!! wow!!!! imagine that!!!!!!!!!!! hopefully I will make another one before the year is over!!

I love how Cailin has pronounced canines since she's a selkie, and has seal-like traits. It's a neat little detail I enjoyed.

OUGHHHH SO GOOOOD!! amazing use of camera angles and the different perspectives you decided to use in general, really brought this to life! this is way underrated and i hope it gets the credit it deserves!!!
