AP takes good care of himself. His regimen is tough but of course he is well disciplined in not doing and taking stuff that are bad for his body especially his vocal chords. He mentioned all of those in his interviews.

@@lagirl1349 Actually it was because sound engineer substitution. In the last 10 years he was struggling to hear properly on stage, which affected his voice really bad. They changed the sound man last year and suddenly Arnel sings like 2008-2009 again, hitting all cylinders . Read the recent Deen Castronovo interview about Arnel's revelation in singing

Goosebumps performance of AP each time he sings these 2 songs !! - AP sings ballads with so much passion and emotions--it's truly mesmerizing !! The sound of Journey songs is TIMELESS---and AP is doing a wonderful job as Journey's frontman! ****Journey is lucky to have found Arnel Pineda !!AP has that tenor unique masculine voice that has a natural rasp that makes it amazing !! He masters the song perfectly and is able to sing like in-studio like recording while he is doing Concerts on LIVE---night after night !!! AP"s vocal versatility, talent, and unbelievable energy are the fuel that keeps the Journey Concert rocking for many years !! I lived through SP's years -but he left Journey, band, so I move on- after watching AP in one Concert--I got hooked !! @@eleity1316 -I was an SP fan, and I moved on, it has been more than 3 decades since SP left the band.SP of course will never be forgotten, but the show must go on, If a song will not be put on shows/concerts, the song fades away along with the band, no matter how popular the band was! Love both of them!

only the greatest band in the world plays their #1 song third! Their list of hits just keeps going. They are excellent in each of their instruments AND, when they found AP, they found the billion dollar man shopping at the dollar star. He is the best entertainer EVER!✌️✌️❤️

i like more the crispiness voice of arnel.. maybe steve better in other side (ballad) but arnel more on rock ballad..

The same can be said of any group that has had multiple lead singers! Queen with Freddie Mercury or Queen with Adam Lambert comes to mind. I saw Queen with Adam Lambert and they were great. I would like to think Freddie would approve of and appreciate Adam as lead!
