I was shocked to see, heated seats in the back of a Vauxhall!! Well, that’s not a Vauxhall, it’s an Opel! Haha, silly me! I wonder whether this’ll come to the UK.

It's really good. You sometimes drove too fast on narrow lanes. It's very scary to me.

People are forgetting, you're not going to be paying even over 35k for this, so dont expect amazing quality. For the price, i think it does well, especially considering it has something like lane assist as standard, bmw would charge you 5k for that option lol

BMW have disclaimer on their website at moment. a lot of models do not even have ACC and High beam assist is extra!

Cool Video, can you show some driving in a city? Like normal driving, to test suspension?

I’m really liking this new Astra! Maybe the rear end could be restyled! It looks too like the Golf Mk8. Also, I love that colour! It looks exactly the same colour BMW used on their M4!

I like how it looks, both interior and exterior, but lackluster engines are disappointing. Where are 1.8/2L engine options???

@@axel_x8954 it sure is, I was surprised though of how crowded the roads were during the weekend, guess you're not the only one coming from Lisbon to the coast :)

Quite like it. I had Astra J - compared to it this one is real cramped, or at least I felt that way. And the old AGR seeds were better and more supportive. And I wish there were OPC or at least GSI versions but compared to the other mainstream producers It is very very good!

Anyone know if the reversing and fog lights are LED or halogen? The Peugeot 308 uses halogen.

Real world EV range? Some reviews saying only 25 miles.

Indeed I have. The Peugeot is a bit more powerful and luxurious maybe, with a less minimalistic interface and fabrics. Both do great on the freeway, loved the engine in the Peugeot a bit more, but overall I think these cars are really close to each other. They also share some parts and technology. Depends on taste and if you like the French or the Germans more. :)

What location is that? Looks quite eye charming!

this design appeared earlier than the Golf 8, namely the Opel Mokka, Volkswagen just brazenly got into the design of the Opel

Haha touche ;) however by the look of it (know it's silly), I believe Stellantis is positioning Opel even below Peugeot. How did you find this interior vs the one in the new 308?

@@p.k.7111 I think they’re about the same. The 308 I drove was slightly more powerful, but the 225 hp of the Astra hybrid again will be more powerful than the 308… a lot of the same tech under the surface too, but in my opinion the Peugeot looked just a bit more luxurious inside. Close call :).

Price considered, this looks fairly premium. Anything else in this pricerange looks way worse.
