it just goes Mute when I do that

Can I do this if my radio turns on but only static sound comes on but when cd is put it, the sound of cd works?

Does this work for the cd player as well? Put a cd in and it's saying "no cd"

@@GETUNLOCKING I think you're right, getting stock cd player replaced with a pioneer touch interface stereo soon but had some CDs to tide me over musically but no dice! Thanks

Just beeping after few seconds.. also not accepting reset buttons to put reset code..
